Rented a SUV from them paid for a upgrade to have 4wd to go up north and it was snowing. Get to my destination and couldn't go up the driveway and come to find out the SUV wasn't 4wd. Had to leave it down by the road. When returning the rental I talked to the lady about it and all she could say was the herts profile says it's 4wd and it wasn't at all. She wouldn't help at all or even go look at the SUV to confirm anything. So I paid for a upgrade and didn't get it and they wouldn't refund me that cost of the upgrade that the SUV never had. Poor service.

Not a real fast process. There was only one person on duty. They were busy. Not her fault. Could use more staff.

I made a reservation. I showed up an hour later and was told they had no car for me. Apparently since I booked it the day of they had the right to give the car away. However I was not made aware of this as I completed the booking and should most definitely have been contacted the second they no longer had a car for. Instead I was left stranded. The lady helping me also did not even apologize for such a major inconvenience and essentially offered no help.

When I was dropped off by Nissan, Dynasty D. had most of the information she needed. She even put me in a pickup truck, similar to the one that was at the Nissan dealership being repaired. I spent no more than 15 minutes, I was in and out. Returning the vehicle was even easier.

I will never depend on hertz of Lake City Florida again. I reserved a minivan a month in advance. Had a family vacation planned with motel reservations in Miami. Went to pick up the vehicle and they said they had nothing and might be able to get me one brought from Georgia. I needed one at the time I had reserved..not a day later.

I reserved a car the night before online for 9 AM the following day. I received a phone call at 8:30 saying they had no cars. They told me they weren’t sure when they were going to get a car. They were coming from Valdosta Georgia. It is now 4 1/2 hours later, and I still not do not have a vehicle. This is a terrible way for a company to do business. Well, I’m glad that the corporate responded. It looks like they are passing the buck. This is not a local store problem. This is a corporate problem that allows you to go online and rent vehicles that are not available the corporation needs to be more responsible to its customers.

My experience with them has always been great! Simple and easy Check in and check out, lovely staff and great car options ( never had a problem with a car) thank you!!!!
