“When looking for the hotel on line I put LA Quinta in Lake City Fl. And ended up with a third party booking company which I had no idea that's what it was. On line at first when I picked LA Quinta it said 108.00 but when I actually called it was 188.00. When we checked in I asked what the difference was and the gentleman started to give me a course on looking the hotel up which I really didn't think I needed. When looking up the hotel this option was the only one that gave me a phone #. So I thought it was direct to the hotel. They answered as La Qunita booking which was false, it ended up being a third party booking company. Please try to help others not to get caught in this matter and list a phone # that is local. We really liked the room etc.

“Really great stay. Quiet, accommodating, and very affordable. The staff was super helpful for every question I had. The beds were so much comfier than my beds at home that I had to ask where I could over one lol. But overall very lovely place and we will be coming back on our next trip to Florida!”
“Despite some of the negative reviews I came across, my experience at the Rodeway Inn was nothing short of exceptional. I’ll admit I was initially hesitant, but I’m so glad I decided to give it a chance. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.
Gary at the front desk set the tone with his kindness and professionalism. When I asked to see a room before checking in, he happily obliged without hesitation—and I was truly impressed. The room was spotless, well-kept, and exceeded my expectations. I was honestly surprised, in the best way possible, and couldn’t understand where the negative reviews had come from.
Every staff member I encountered during my stay was incredible. Pamela from housekeeping, Chip in maintenance, Liz at the front desk, and even the owners—all went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. Their collective care and attention made my stay feel personal and sincere.
A special thank you as well for a kind gesture that meant a great deal to me—your thoughtfulness won’t be forgotten. It’s rare to come across such genuinely good-hearted people, and for that, I’m truly grateful.

“We stayed 2 nights. Used most of their amenities. The entire hotel is in very clean condition, front staff, kitchen, cleaning crew, security, everybody was kind and helpful to us. Very comfortable beds and room. We would stay here again and recommend it to others. I travelled with family and was perfect for us. Easy to find, close to many stores and restaurants! Included breakfast was nice and the area well maintained. Gym in good working condition and I was particularly happy they have a guest laundry room :-)”
