I thought this bank was part of SunTrust, which I had a check from my doctors office so I needed to cash it. The lady at the window asked to see my check after she told me they were not SunTrust. She gave the check back and said that she was just wanting to make sure it wasn’t fraudulent now why would you wanna see a check after I just told you it was from my doctors office and you told me you weren’t sun trust!!! i was so confused and really upset she would think I had a bad check and was trying to cash it!!!

We've been a customer of People's State Bank for the last two years. The folks there are friendly and customer-centric. I've truly been impressed with their professionalism and approach to doing business. Upon moving to Lake City, we were looking for a caring bank that could help us finance the purchase of rentals. We soon had a very negative experience with one of Lake City's largest and oldest banks. I'm grateful to an individual who recommended People's State Bank and we are thoroughly pleased with them.

This is the most poorly executed mess I have ever seen in my 55 years! 4 out of 5 debit cards don't work, can no longer log onto my on line account this is after spending almost an hour at the bank. I was told, "Okay you are all set to go," NOT! So rather than spend any more time standing in the out the door line tryin to get this right, I think it is in my best interest to just spend that time switching my account to another bank. I feel for the people that are out of town when the bank just switched EVERYONES debit cards off. Sometimes you should think about what's best for the customer and not just the bank.

Have had the worst experience with the mortgage department of any company any where in the country.. very lazy and unprofessional employees I've ever come across in the last 30 years of banking.. seems to be a bad case of nepotism.. hope that the board of this bank can change things before the bank will fold.... will not be a business I would deal with again soon..
