Best Verizon store in North FL! I've been to plenty, and the employees in this location go above and beyond every time I've been in. Melissa helped me today, and made my day with her friendly attitude and helpful hints about my phone. I really appreciate this store conveniently located by Publix in Lake City.

February 2024 by I am here I am there
I went in this store to upgrade. Some gal. Think Courtney. Tried to help me. I am longtime customer.. longer then she has been working there. She wanted me to pay for new device, before I can even look at it?. She doesn't trust me. And I'm expecting to trust her? Wow.Then once young person brought out new chrome book. She opened it..quickly push buttons. Said ok, that's it. Then put back in box. Like I have no clue..what she did. I went home try figure out myself. I'm a veteran with ptsd..takes little slower to understand things. For now on..il ask for manager when I go in...Now I get an email, about device protection?. Why didn't I hear about this when I picked up my device?. When Courtney pushing buttons unknown what.. did she install virus?. .. management always apologies, but nothing changes.

I shopped around before coming in since I heard tmobile was offering a promo to pay off your devices when you switch. Considering the amount asurian gave me was more than I owed I thought maybe I'd switch and let tmobile pay off the lines. I mentioned to the rep when i came in and that they were also waiving activation fees. That's where the problems started. The sales rep said "oh no worries we dont have activation fees when you upgrade just the sales tax and states fees" So I ended up getting the s24ultra However the sales rep mentioned I needed to upgrade plans for their promo and said I would get a bunch of other perks like hbo, walmart+ Netflix hulu etc. I told him oh I don't need all that I already have those and I get most of them free with my job. So he grabs my phone with a bunch of accessories under the assumption I'm going buy them saying OK so I got you a couple things you'll need and I'll get this all wrapped up for you. I said no I'm good no need. That set him off so he goes to the back for a while and then his manager comes out with my phone in a bag with the paperwork and says your all set while the sales rep already started working someone else.the rep told me the bottom line with tax. He added all those perks he mentioned I said I didn't want but didn't tell me they weren't included. Looking even further I noticed the back paper had a signature saying I agreed to all of this but the sales rep forged it because it clearly wasn't mine! I called verizon support before I went to the store and explained that I was gonna bring back in my trade but wanted to talk to someone about the shady tactics, dishonesty and technically illegal forgery of my agreement to the deal. The customer service rep assured me if I went to the store they'd handle it. So I did but I stayed on the phone so the rep could work with them on the situation. I walk in and the general manager Ralph greets me and I tell him I'm here to bring my trade but I had some issues with how the deal was handled and undisclosed fees etc. First thing I mention was the upgrade fee which the customer service rep said shouldn't have been charged to my card and the other adds the salesrep added without disclosing. Immediately he pops off "Nuh uh I don't know who told you we don't charge upgrade fees but I been here 5 years and that's always been the case" I said well your rep said you didn't and so did verizon. "Well we don't charge an activation fee but there's always an upgrade fee" I said well it's not even a big deal but I told the rep that when I came in tmobile was waiving fees and he responded with "no worries you just pay the plan, device payment and taxes and state fees" so I assumed that was the case. He comes back argumentive and says "well you need to tell whatever that rep name is that they need to get retrained because that ain't the case. Oh and I was there when yall were talking and he mentioned everything" I said no you weren't man and it's not even a big deal about the fee it's just how he told me one thing corporate says the same and now you're acting like me and the company you work for are lying. The bigger issues I have are all the perks he added to my bill, the failure to review the bill breakdown with me so this conversation wouldn't even have to happen, forging my signature and how he just handed my stuff to a manager and moved on. Then 4 other reps jump in on the conversation talking crap about verizon corporate lying and how I must have been high or on something because I'm acting "responsive" today which I guess means questioning their integrity rather than assuming.Mind you I'm still on the phone with corporate and customers are in the store listening to these sales rep jumping on me and verizon saying I was to "high" or on something to ask questions and I'm wrong. These guys are insane. Where do you get off liter

Verizon may claim to have great coverage, but their service is atrocious. Especially for the price! Do not get Verizon, they suck!

Always very helpful. Been with them for over 20 years. My only gripe is that the perks & discounts given to new customers should go the their loyal customers. It's rare to not have coverage with Verizon - I travel the eastern seaboard, mountains, and remote places.

One month ago, my wife and I went into this Verizon to buy new phones. Chance Sessions, a customer service representative helped us. Chance Sessions also decided to save my wife’s phone number to his personal phone so that he could seduce her. He succeeded. Today I found out that Mr. Sessions has done this to another woman as well. He is abusing his position at Verizon to seduce married women which has reduced my quality of life and has caused substantial emotional harm, my daughter has lost a mother figure that she loved. It’s tasteless and unprofessional and an invasion of my privacy. Beware.

Great man who helped me with my phone. I believe I and others had the settings all screwed up! The man took quite a bit of time going through my phone and then explained to me what he was able to do and what couldn't be done. Very thankful for his help!

Literally the WORST customer service I have EVER seen!!! I spent HOURS on the phone today 8/9/23 to locate and place an order for 2 gizmo watches. Did every part of the ordering process over the phone AND paid. I was told by their employee on the chat from their website this location was open til 7pm. The man who placed my order on the phone (Curtis) told me they’re open til 7pm at this location, and I could just swing by to show my ID and collect the watches as I had already taken care of everything on the phone. I show up around 6:33, and a man in a blue car in the parking lot (some EMPLOYEE) yells out of his car window that they closed at 6! That the 7pm hours don’t apply until next week, however that works, and he can’t help, sorry! Then drove off!! Obviously livid I called the customer service number and got (Adah) on the phone. I explained everything and I told her that if I wasn’t able to pick up two watches tonight I would like a refund and my order cancelled, she said ok. After being on the phone with her for 36 minutes, she finally informs me she can’t even do a refund OR cancel my order because she’s actually NOT Verizon she’s a 3rd party! So now I have to wait 3-5 BUSINESS days for this order to be canceled, all because this company doesn’t know it’s own store hours. I have AT&T and only wanted Verizon for the two watches, after this I will NEVER use Verizon for anything and I will make sure to tell everyone I know that this company is deceitful and truly does NOT care about you as a customer. Oh and while I stood in your parking lot for the duration of that call, I watched another employee EXIT the store, so they COULD have just given me the product I had paid for. I also watched at least 5 other vehicles pull up to try and do business with you guys, only to discover the same as me, that YOU DONT KNOW YOUR OWN HOURS.Edit: as of 8/10/23I went in to this location this morning and spoke with Justin the manager, he apologized for the inconvenience and he did everything he could to make the situation right with me, so I ended up taking the watches. I’ve got them all set up and we are happy with them. Big thank you again to Justin for rectifying the situation, when everyone else just kept saying they couldn’t help.

This is a bad place for younger people to start their first phone service I have turned off my phone since October 2022 and paid the last bill and they still have not turned off my service in July of 2023 this is absolutely ridiculous I have called the store three different times and turned off my services and they're still charging me monthly bills absolutely ridiculous

Went in for phone upgrades. Salesperson gave us incorrect information about the phones, and incorrect information about credit for sending in existing phones. He also added line protection we did not want or request. He also said he couldn’t offer us the better deals we were offered via text even after showing him the texts. Said I could have 2 lines on one phone (which I know to be true), but he could not do that. We would have to call customer service because the reps at the store are just “button pushers.” We called customer service and were told they have to complete that at the store. They need to train their sales reps. Stinks to be a loyal customer and get awful service which will end up costing us more money and wasted time having to go back for a service that should have been taken care of during the initial visit. Paying off the phones and switching carriers is looking pretty good right now.Response to Verizon: Trying to do better doesn’t resolve any issues. Actually making things right solves issues. It’s easy to type an apology but not stand behind actual good customer service and making things right. Doesn’t matter how big the company. Most of us would be out of a job with the poor customer service provided to us. Verizon is okay with a rep saying they are “button pushers.” It’s very disappointing. Seems you have little concern for the issues stated. Also, not that it matters, but it’s multiple phones, iPads and a hotspot. Nice that in all of your replies to negative reviews is “next time or “in the future.” How about solving problems and providing proper customer service now! No customers-no business.

I went in to try to get home internet, and was treated very poorly. They walked behind a wall and was talking bad about me, thinking I couldn’t hear them. I do not recommend this store to anyone.
