had to do a large wire transfer. The person who helped me verbally verified the recipient bank and account numbers by calling them with me there to prevent a possibility of fraud. I really appreciated the attention to detail.

I recently visited my local bank branch to collect new bills for the upcoming lunar new year. The branch has three tellers and several ATMs, including two drive-through lanes and a bank teller drive-through lane. I am a regular customer at this branch and have always had positive experiences here. This time was no different - I was assisted promptly with very little waiting time.

The Lake Mary branch of Bank of America is the worst. Customer service is horrible. The teller service is good. But, there is usually only one teller and a drive up. When you call the branch direct number. No one answers. I live a mile from the bank. I will drive five miles to go to another branch. Where I get the proper service that I expect from Bank of America.

This bank is an absolute joke. BOA constrictor of the people. I deposited a CERTIFIED CHECK on Friday 08/18/2023. My deposit slip advised the funds would be available on 08/19/2023, which as it's a certified check it should be. However, I instead received an email advising me that the hold was placed because "specific information indicates item may be returned". First of all, it's a Certified Check (I could have taken it and bought something at a dealership).When I called to find out if the hold can be released, as it's a certified check, I am advised "No, because we were advised by the originating bank the check may come back". I then asked Who advised them this? What exactly was advised? All he said was "I am not at liberty to say". (BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANYTHING THAT SHOWS THE CHECK MAY BE RETURNED).As of this morning, this check is still on hold. I am in the negative, can not buy gas, groceries, or any items I may need for my daughter or myself. God forbid any of us get sick and have to go the doctor and pay the Co-pay. I reach out on my BOA(snake) chat and speak with an agent. She advises me the same, and then advises me the "Check could be canceled". CERTIFIED CHECKS CAN NOT BE CANCELED. The Originating BANK CERTIFIES IT'S A GOOD CHECK BY GIVING THE CHECK.Needless to say, once these funds have cleared into my account (whenever that happens). I will be leaving this bank, for a bank who genuinely cares for their clients and wants to provide a SERVICE to their clients, and not SCREW THEM OUT OF BEING ABLE TO USE THEIR ACCOUNT. Ahh, once that day comes... and to be free of this "boa constrictor"

Long line , think Thursday night on payday. Ask your parents about it . And $8 to cash a check written from an account at the bank without an account, ridiculous. Teller was friendly though and they opened another window to get the line moving

I can't imagine how anyone could say that this branch is not top notch. Perhaps they are talking about BofA and not the people that work there. I may have some problems with the bank but never with the branch.

I have got to give it up for Ms. Julie, that has helped me twice now this week in getting my finances in order. First with helping me gain control of my accounts, and then again today with helping me intercept a deposit that was sent incorrectly to a closed account. Ten stars if it were possible! She definitely knows her stuff. Thank you!

I have been sitting in this drive through for 30 Minutes it’s now 3:04 and one car is still at the window for over 30 minutes. Update finally got to the teller @3:11 and still waiting for her to finish the process of helping me. This whole process finished @ 3:22

I hate coming here. You can guarantee terrible service and at least a 30 min wait in the drive thru . Worst bank EVER !!
