TWO FRAUD CHARGES and NO support! I am filing a complaint with CFPB and OCC. There is reason to believe this is internal fraud. Getting any type of assistance is near impossible. The calls are directed to an offshore 3rd party, regardless of what time of day you call. Call on a Friday at 1600 EST, thinking even offices in CST are open, I was still routed to offshore. There is absolutely no dialogue, the agent reads off a script and doesn't know how to deviate from it. There is a language barrier, so if you aren't providing the precise keywords or phrases the agent understands, you will get a generic, "thank you, I understand" followed by a regurgitated question that may or may not pertain to the situation at hand. I have been dealing with a fraud trans since August. OVER 3 months and they've done everything BUT correct the problem. Even canceled the wrong card. And get this, when I call to get an explanation I'm told they can't help me because I don't have my credit card. Welllll, I shredded it! I ask to speak to a supervisor, but denied because I couldn't verify the CC number of the CC they were suppose to cancel months ago. Make it make sense. I give my SS, my cell #, my DOB, and work #, and still told I can't be helped. I have a fraud charge from a website somewhere in Tiawan and I have offshore agents asking me for my info and saying it's wrong!! At this point I'm thinking my info has been compromised by someone internal. The agent has my SS, DOB, address, and phone number, telling me she can't help me. It took 2 calls and being rerouted 3x to get someone IN THE STATES just to cancel the correct card. And get this.... 3 days after this call ANOTHER FRAUD charge from Hong Kong! This time declined because we had canceled the card. No way you will convince me this is just coincidence. Moving on.... I still need to call back for a provisional credit and have to RESUBMIT the dispute documents. I charged 20 on my BoA card at a Knoxville parking garage and BoA sent me a text asking if that was me. Some foreign website, with all the markings of fraud, charges my card at McCoy and I can't even get them to cancel the correct card.

Sorry that I had to post my review to this location. However, it’s the closest location to me and the location I do business with. But this review doesn’t necessarily pertain to this specific location, just McCoy as a whole.
I applied for “Skip-A-Pay,” a service McCoy advertised on their app/website and offers to individuals who live in an area recently affected by a disaster. Since we just had the Hurricane here in Central FL, a lot of unexpected expenses came up pertaining to that making money extremely tight, so I figured I’d try and take advantage of the offer (I have an auto loan through McCoy.)
Mind you, my student loan servicer is providing me a 90-day forgiveness, and Fairwinds also offered me skip-a-pay for one payment because I also have an auto loan through them. I didn’t see anything advertised on Fairwinds’ website, I just called and asked and they took care of me, no questions asked. I have been a customer with Fairwinds for over 7 years, McCoy take notes.
Anyway, I apply for skip-a-pay through McCoy and they stated someone would contact me to “find out if I qualify or if they need further information.” Which I thought was weird. We had a natural disaster in our area, people are strapped for cash, what’s there to qualify for? So McCoy calls me today and says “I don’t qualify because my account is less than 90 days old.”
I made my first payment, and my second payment was due this month, which I was trying to use the skip-a-pay for. It baffles me that that’s what disqualifies me, like it was my fault the hurricane decided to roll through Florida. It shows you what type of company McCoy is. I told the employee “I will remember that and put it in my back pocket if or when I decide to possibly do business with McCoy again.”
I’m very tempted to get my auto loan refinanced ASAP so these people don’t get another dime out of me. And the employee over the phone seemed like he didn’t care. Very disappointing McCoy, a customer is a customer, whether they’ve been with you one month, one year, or ten years.

It is with McCoy credit Union. This is the third time in 6 months that we have had fraud charges on our debit card and then we have to wait 7-10 business days to get a new card. Fairwinds Credit Union can give you one at their branches. Why can’t McCoy? This really stinks.

Jequece Smith, the Lake Mary branch manager went ABOVE and BEYOND helping me with a HUGEEEEE !!!!!!!! Fraud issue , I can’t thank her enough for everything thing she did, she is a blessing and this bank is lucky to have someone who truly cares about there customers which is very rare nowadays, thank you again Jequece for all that you do!!!!!

Friday, I have a very unpleasant interaction with kayla. I have been coming to this location for several months . Never had any issues until Friday with Kayla . I’m doing the same Routine depositing my government work check into my account. She put a hold on my check without telling me .. When I went back in to ask her what’s going on . She lied, saying it Alert her to put a hole because I had a bad check in the pass . Which is a LIE .. She proceeded to give me an attitude. Another staff member came out was trying to give me excuses for her behavior and actions. . I was lied to She stereotype me and she was definitely racist.
