Hello, my name is Doug and I wanted to share a couple of thoughts with you. This comes from a slightly different viewpoint than normal. I am not a client, however I am an outside vendor who services sensitive information for Insight. I have daily dealings with multiple branches for Insight as well as their competitors. Everyone is quick to offer up a harsh word or two if something isn’t perfect, but as a society we need to get back to offering a kind word when deserved. That’s what I’m here to do. The Insight branch located at 501 Currency Circle in Lake Mary has within its walls some of the nicest ladies that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. Always smiling, always positive which makes taken care of them as a client an absolute joy!Thank you for allowing me to share an opinion.

My husband and I have been members for 30yrs. Shannon and the other ladies in the office were very helpful and professional. I would recommend this bank.They also have a great fraud department.

Shannon, the Branch Manager, along with her staff are excellent! In a time when Insight is making some changes, the Lake Mary branch outshines the others I have visited. Thank you to Shannon and her staff for excellency customer service and support!

Horrible service when it comes to card services. They use a 3rd party company for fraudulent charges on cards, which withdrew money from my account twice by mistake after crediting it the wrong amount initially. So not only did I have to wait over a month on money lost from fraudlent charges, I was charged DOUBLE THAT AMOUNT BY MISTAKE AND WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT TO GET THAT MONEY RETURNED AS WELL, WHICH WAS NEVER EVEN DISPUTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!! What a complete waste of phone calls dealing with incompetent reps that claim to have no ability to credit the money the card services stole from my account for over a MONTH. If I wanted to give loans out I would open my own bank!!!

I had to close an account. The lady I had an appointment with was accidentally double booked, but she STILL took care of everything while they were understaffed. Still have an account with them, and I'll keep it that way.

The service in the Lake Mary branch is super slow. Appt on the phone works sometimes. The branch isn’t open on Sunday. Time for a change!

Without a doubt, insight credit union is the worst form of banking I have ever used. I have been a member since 2013 and one of my biggest regrets in the entirety of my adult life is using this horrendous place. I cant even count how many times my account has been suspended due to either withdrawing 1000$ in a single day, or traveling one state over and using my card on a candy bar. Guess that too suspicious for them. Every single time my card has been suspended i have to jump through the same hoops every time. Throughout the years the app has gotten worse and worse and the staff has changed to where i cant identify one person who has been there since i started with them. Customer service is shitty, logging in just to check my account is shitty, if you transfer money more than 4 times a month your account will either be suspended or you will not be allowed to transfer any more money. I cant count amount of times i have been over drafted when i had money in it and the unwillingness of this shitty bank to work with me. My identity has been stolen on average of once a year since I started with them and never is there a simple solution other than waiting for damn near a month to get a new card. This has never happened at any other bank I used. One time my boss wrote me a bounced check and they overdrafted me twice for it and would not even give me a little bit of help when I explained the situation to them. Don't even get me started about trying to get anything done during covid times. Alot of the staff has degraded to being lazy and rude. Avoid them at all costs or you will want to jump off a bridge, not because your suicidal but because you will no longer want to deal with the stress and pain involved with this shitty service. Keep in mind I never write reviews this is just how bad they are.
