I came into lake Mary branch . The day I went into the branch, the branch manager was so nasty . Employees looked on edge . I was looking forward to banking with them but be aware new management is rude, makes up unnecessary rule and regulation on the spot . May God help each and everyone of their souls .....

Stay away from this bank.. If I could give a negative 0 rating I would. Incompetent staff, incompetent management all the up through corporate. Have been dealing with it for years, no more. Card compromised through no fault of our own, clearly a charge made to our account that was proven not to be ours. We filed a claim as the bank advised. We were given a replacement card which they then shut off. Bank refused to give a replacement debit card stating “it is a privilege to have a card” therefore having no access to my own money. Lake Mary Manager suggested we come to the bank to get money out when we need it. What???? Zero customer service. They should be shutdown. Closing all 4 accounts immediately and have moved to a reputable bank with wonderful customer service and knowledge of banking. They have never heard of such actions of not replacing your card when your card is compromised. Proving employees of Surety bank are not trained in the business of banking and don’t know what they are talking about. They simply make up their own rules. Illegal comes to mind.

We as consumers make our banking experience what you want it to be and it’s truly how as a customer we treat people. I’ve never had an issue with this bank or their employees, as they have always treated with respect and make me feel like I’m at home. I get it that I may not understand certain things, but when I have gone in with my questions (and open mind and patience) I always leave with a clear understanding and all my concerns are clarified for me! Thank you for always having my back and for making my banking experience so easy and simple! You are truly one of a kind of banking!!

I normally do not post such poor ratings, matter of fact you can check my account to testify to my statement. But never have I felt so scammed and completely shunned out. None of the employees understand the concept of clarification and for an establishment that claims it’s a “neighborhood/community” bank they are ao cold, and not understanding. Not only did anyone not go over fees on the initial opening, I wasn’t able to get a card till 9 BUISNESS DAYS, then to be charged $140 in fees to which they kept circling what the return fee even is. Then they shut my account, took money out my money from my savings account without my approval. Honestly I have never been so shocked with rudeness and they’re nonchalant ways of dismissing customers. If I could have given a 0 star review I would.

I have banked at this specific location for just shy of four years and have been treated with nothing but respect and clear instructions regarding my account and its limitations. Their savings interest rate is higher than the big banks, the tellers know me by name, and it’s on the quieter end of LMB. What’s not to love?No idea why multiple people with the same last name would dogpile onto this bank within minutes of each other- sounds like a personal problem ?♀️

Do not go. Closed 2 days out of the week. Closes earlier than any bank. They do not treat customers well even with how small of a staff. Will have CRAZY FEES.

They are not a friendly neighborhood bank. The assosciates don’t really know how to clarify hidden fees or rules. Would not recommend whatsoever.

Surety bank is a local community bank that really caters to its people. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
