The traditional hardware store in Lake Placid is a great place to shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff are always willing to help and offer solutions for whatever needs to be done. People find a lot of different supplies, decent prices and a good go to place when a job is close to finishing. The younger workers are better for asking questions and the old staff have something smart to say. The store has always been professional and friendly, with stock right there for a part or something you need. It is a far better experience than a big box store.
