The traditional hardware store in Lake Placid is a great place to shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff are always willing to help and offer solutions for whatever needs to be done. People find a lot of different supplies, decent prices and a good go to place when a job is close to finishing. The younger workers are better for asking questions and the old staff have something smart to say. The store has always been professional and friendly, with stock right there for a part or something you need. It is a far better experience than a big box store.
For a small little town place ,they have most of the things you need for around the house and yard. There are always friendly people there to help you with what you are looking for. It sure beats driving to Lowes or Home Depot.

Love this hardware store. awesome help and the manager Robert is friendly and very helpful. Store hours should open earlier. contractors head out early. Well stocked and friendly employees.
