“I had to put my buddy Biscuit, my and my daughter’s cat that I bought for her as a tiny kitten, to sleep today. My first time meeting Dr Hall and his staff. They were kind, empathetic, and obviously love their jobs caring for people’s pets. I was heartbroken of course, and torn about trying to treat Biscuit again, but at age 17 he had a great life and I feel I made the right choice, as he has been failing slowly for a long time. I recommend the office on the basis of their compassion.”

“I can’t thank Dr. Carlo and the staff at Charlotte Animal Hospital enough. My six month old puppy, Duke, needed emergency surgery and Dr. Carlo stayed after hours to save his life. It was one of the scariest experiences I’ve ever been through, but she took such amazing care of him and kept me informed every step of the way.
Everyone at the hospital was kind, compassionate, and truly cared about Duke. You can tell this team loves what they do and treats every animal like their own. Dr. Carlo even personally called to check on Duke after he came home, which meant so much to me and showed how much she genuinely cares about her patients. Because of her quick action and dedication, Duke is home recovering and back to being himself.
I will always be grateful for everything they did for my puppy. I highly recommend Dr. Carlo and the entire team at Charlotte Animal Hospital.”

“Dr. Winter and his entire staff are AWESOME!!!! If I could give a ten star rating I would. Today I stopped by their office to see if they were open yet due to Hurricane Milton. My 14 year old Labrador Cahill was overdue for a monthly injection that he receives. Even though they weren't open and the staff were in the the middle of cleaning up from the hurricane damage, they administered Cahill's much needed medication. I am so thankful to all of them.

I came in unannounced and although she had patients Dr. Husted stopped to talk with me about my puppy and even took the time to print informative materials. Amy helped me apply for Cherry Credit which I got approved for immediately and it saved the day. Great staff! 5 stars! Thank you!”

“I couldn't say anything better about this hospital, my poor star didn’t make it but they tried so hard to save her. They were in the parking lot waiting when I pulled in to rush her back. They were kind compassionate and the cremation process was so easy I didn’t have to stress. I brought her home and they had put a lock of fur in the bag and her paw print, I was so upset I forgot to ask for her fur to keep and they thought for me. I got a card today and it just reassured me that this hospital is more than a business it’s a place that cares and loves what they do. “Having worked for two first rate clinics myself, I recognize the excellence at Groves. Efficient, friendly, and very caring. They are knowledgeable and follow up care with phone calls. I'm one of those 'my pets are my family' type and it DOES matter to me who cares for my pets.
They were quick to schedule my dying pet even though I was not then a regular client. We had just moved to the area and had the misfortune of using another local clinic and I wish we had found Groves first.
In any case, if you care about who lays hands on your pet, Groves is it.
So glad I found them.

“This vet office is a beautiful place to be when you love your pet/ family member & want the best care possible. They have holistic approaches, vitamin boost remedies for cats + dogs, obvious compassion for their animal patients, & incredible patience. Wholeheartedly the best vet experience I have ever had, I'm so grateful I found them. They have saved the life of one of my beloved cats this summer when my regular vet basically said there's nothing else to aid in his recovery, he's doing beautifully now. Very experienced with cats in their tender approach with extra details like a warm enveloping towel/blanket to calm them ( as stress is hugely detrimental to healing in all animals, but in my experience especially cats ), handling thoroughly when examining but incredibly gently -- my most high stress cat was calm with them. Love & trust them completely with my family.”
“We recently moved to the area and had no idea where to take our animals. Recently in the midst of the move and stress associated with that, we had to put our cat down. The team was very empathetic, understanding, helpful and caring during this difficult time. They didn’t even take payment on the day she passed. When we arrived to pay and pick her up we were given an extra special gift of her paw prints in clay, ashes in a beautiful box and they even mailed us a card after her passing. We can’t thank the staff enough for the care they gave Tiger and our family.”

“I recently relocated to Florida from North Carolina. With so many reviews floating around social media, it was hard to choose a vet for my dog. After having a bad experience in Punta Gorda, Toledo blade did not disappoint. When I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist was polite & warm. You do have to provide a deposit for appointments, but it goes directly towards your bill. The Veterinarian who cared for my dog during his visit was excellent. He provided me with more information & knowledge than any other vet I’ve seen in the past. He truly listened to my concerns, provided a solution, all while educating me. After my french bulldog started his meds, he’s been bouncing around like he did when he was a puppy. ❤ The vet tech was also kind and informative. The prices here are extremely fair. They even called to follow up with my pup to see how he was feeling after our appointment. (This never happens). Prescription process was easy. They sent me a link to their online pharmacy. After purchasing my dogs medication, the pharmacy contacts the vet for approval & sends your meds to your address. Not once did I feel coached to purchase unnecessary testing or have unnecessary procedures done. This place did everything but drain my money. Please don’t listen to any negative reviews. Try them for yourself. 🫶”
