I bought a power lift chair there. I had to have the remote replaced twice before the warranty ran out. Then I paid for the third one. which we had to install ourselves. After we installed. the remote it still does not work. I now have a chair that is useless to me. I will never do business with Badcock again.

Go in this morning and I'm the only customer there. A number of sales people hanging in the back and one walking aroun. Figured id get good service. waited! And waited. Looked the salespeople in the back, even made eye contact. Nothing. The one walking around walked right by me - not even an acknowledgement. After 15 minutes I left. I guess they felt my cash wasn't worthy

Horrible customer service. They tell you they are to busy to cancel your order after you wait a month being told weekly your item will be in and it never shows up. I have had the run around for weeks and then hung up on twice having to call corporate to get something done. I will use Fort Meade from here on out.

I ordered a couch, I was given a delivery date, the day before that date they called to tell me my furniture was not there for delivery. They gave me a new date. I had to cancel with the company I hired to take my old furniture away. The day before the new date I got a call telling me the furniture had not come in, again I had to cancel pick up of old couch. Was given another date for delivery the day before that date same thing. I went down to the showroom and asked them to deliver the floor model, I wasn't going to do the canceling of old couch removal again. They finally sent the couch. It arrived without the pillows, I was told they would order pillows and I would have them in 2 weeks, in 2 weeks no pillows, in 4 weeks no pillows, 6 weeks they recieved 1 pillow, now I am waiting for the other pillow. I will never buy furniture from this company again. Nothing but a run around.

Ive use badcock for years ,starting in the 70's, help pay my mother account thier. Got sick last four years, fell behind in my bills and file Bankruptcy chapter 7, Never had a balance with them in the discharge.. now i was trying to build my credit , badcock turn me down, and the folks was nasty with me , Im retired now on disability, VA, and retirement not like i need credit, Just trying to rebuild it come to find out thet had other creditors then get folk credit and i did that myself gave me 1200 credit, first try . But thank God i can use it some where else , and i will they st lost a consumer j

so I've done business with Badcock in the past and have always been pleased - today I stopped in to inquire if they have anyone they use for furniture repair - I just have an electric recliner that has has stopped working and the young lady first wanted my information to "look up" my account, told her that was not necessary as i know it's out of warranty I just need someone to come repair it , not holding them responsible, perfectly willing to pay someone, then she ask for my phone number to see what "model" i have... No I am not willing to give you that information because i do not want my name on a mailing list nor do I wish to have anyone calling me - it's a simple request, I'm sure other furniture stores have people they call to go in and repair things, all I want is a name and number to have mine repaired. She then went behind the wall and came back and said No we dont have anyone.........Really? you had to go talk to someone to get a No? So no hometown customer service? No supporting the small business man? Word of mouth goes a long way people and you know.. it's just too bad because I am actually in the market for a new Kitchen appliance package... guess I will have to look outside of my hometown for that and that is sad because I really like to spend my money in my town. Bad form Badcock, bad form.

We ordered a new couch.. two guys came to pick up our old couch and replace it with the new. Right off the bat they were complaining about how they were going to get the original couch out of the house. My sister had to come and get me because they were not happy with going out the front door due to limited space. She said they were very disrespectful to her and complaining so I had to tell them that's how we got it in in the first place. I'm sorry we didn't lay out a welcome mat and open our house up like a doll house so you didn't have to work. They took the original couch and left it outside our house saying they have no room so they will have to come the next day and pick it up. Overall service was poor.. 1 star goes to the quality of the couch we bought.. also scuffed up the walls and removed paint while moving the original couch.
