I just moved this area recently and yesterday I stopped by Lowe’s. When I walked in the store a retail seller Erica she’s asked me immediately if I need any help. Long story short. She was so kind, helpful with a big patience. I’m for sure I spent 2 hours at the store. I’m so grateful for that I met Erica!! Thank you so much!!

Our family bought my dad a grill as a Father’s Day gift, a Father’s Day promotion that included a grill and a propane tank. The one we bought was pre-assembled, and since I have a truck I was the person who went to pick it up. I picked it up in the early afternoon on Father’s Day (June 16, 2024). My experience with this Lowe’s was a disaster.
I went in with a copy of the receipt and they showed me to the grill which was being stored outside the store. Not a huge deal, but being pre-assembled and being stored outside there were a few spots with obvious rusting. Again, not a huge deal, but I was directed to the grill and that was the end of any assistance provided, no offer to help loading. Maybe this is store policy or protocol? Home Depot always helps or at least offers to help load large and heavy items.
As I was loading the grill into the bed of my truck, I quickly became aware that there was a hornets’ nest inside this grill. How? Because they swarmed me and stung me 3 times across my hand and arm. After making the store associates aware, they were initially helpful and apologetic. The 2 or 3 store associates offered me an antiseptic and let me use a bottle of wasp spray to spray down the nest. They also offered a discount, which we were very thankful for, for dealing with that unfortunate situation. They told us to come back the next day and ask to speak with the manager to apply our discount.
The next day comes, and we drive the 45 minutes back to the store with the receipt. Do they honor the discount they promised? Absolutely not. The discount they applied was 2/5ths of what they had promised us the day before. We didn’t notice this until we drive another 45 minutes home. We called the store to ask why they didn’t honor the promised amount. It took 2 hours and calling 3 separate times to finally get someone on the phone who didn’t put us on hold indefinitely. Dennis was, simply put, rude and argumentative, constantly talking over me any time I tried to speak. And in the end, no help at all. He just told us to call back the next day and speak with the manager, Louie (I don’t know if that name is spelled correctly). We didn’t have to call the next day, Louie called us, and told us we were out of luck. Nothing he could do.
Thanks Lowe’s ?, at least I’ll never have to decide what home improvement store to shop at anymore. Anywhere but Lowe’s.
Did I mention the grill was missing its drip pan too? This review is only a 1 of 5 because there is no 0 star option.

Lowe’s is a great place to shop. I love the display they put up at Memorial Day and I love how they treat the military.

I just want to thank Torrell for going out of his way to help me with finding a gutter pad , he not only located them he brought back both colors fo me to choose from . Helpful , smart , and has a super personality. I give him 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sometimes this place is really good, and sometimes it isn't. It all depends on the people you have to deal with. Some are knowledgeable and some aren't. Some have an attitude, and others are great.

I am not a fan of hardware stores, but Lowes is more than that, so I keep going back. They now are pet friendly and have a great variety of items so I can get my dog andcleaning supplies when I go for paint and tools.
