It's seems Country Stores have to wear many hats, this store is half way between civilization and no where, if I'd have to guess I'd say this place is about ten or twelve miles from a Publix or a Walmart, business that are used to gauge remoteness in this part of the world. This place reminds me of an oasis and it seems everyone needs something and the owners are making every effort to accommodate them all. The first thing that came to mind when I pulled in here was diversification and after speaking with the young women who was running the register they continues to evolve, after all if you still have room to grow and there are still other services that you can offer expand, expand, expand. Currently the offerings include; beer and ice, some wines and mixers, grocery staples, premium gas and AV fuel (airboats rule here), bait and tackle, marine supplies including lube, oil, lights, wiring, seat cushions, hitches and tires, hardware, pipe fittings, pvc, nuts and bolts, a deli, tobacco, charcoal, propane and air. Coming soon: a bar and grill with an emphasis on bar I think she actually said "pub", a new bait shop - I'd bet they take request so if it's possible that they don't have something and you're a regular I'm sure it's just a matter of time. It goes without saying but I have to mention, the staff is super friendly and if you can't find it they can help you put you hands on it. If there's one thing that may sting a little is the prices, this is somewhat justified being it's such a remote location so I'm sure there's an up charge on deliveries along with no competition - I like these kind of places and the roadside sign is so cool too...
