The store is a bit a messy and outdated looking. I've had decent to good help in the past but today not so. Very close to 6:30pm I made a purchase and requested $10 cash back. As the cashier hands me my receipt and $10, she tells me to "next time ask because I just started and don't have money" What the??? How is a customer supposed to know that especially at 6:30pm in the evening??? Perhaps she should tell people before she rings them up! How about that!

There is an old lady that works at the store who is one of the nastiest, at least helpful people I have ever run across. And to make matters worse, as customers were coming up to check out, all she could do was continually complain about being near the time for her to leave. She can't wait to get away, and it should be no surprise that her customers couldn't wait to get away either... from her! It wouldn't be so bad if they actually had decent prices but, you could usually do better in a grocery store, which was walking distance away. The bottom line is this is a convenience store, not a dollar store; And an incredibly rude one at that!

Customer Service was Awful at this location when reported to the Manager Ray he walked off during the Conversation. I will not spend my Money we’re a Employee is allowed to treat a Customer in that manner.

Expired food check. Angry employees check. Mostly off brand products check. But convenient in a pinch. Poorly lit, not clean but I have not seen any rodents or bugs. Can't blame the folks who work here for being unhappy. Plus since it is the cheapest food for miles you get a lot of homeless and hungry people shopping here alongside folks from the other side of the bridge who go there for convenience not price when they are desperate for some item to save a trip off island. It is, to put it mildly, kind of like riding a NYC subway. A cross section of society. Home of the lowest common denominator.

With attitude I was asked not to roll my $700 scooter around the shop when in fact I’ve had been in there at least once a week for about 4 months doing just that and when I came up with an attitude I got banned from the store.

I heard they are trying to open a hot yoga studio due to the lack of AC. Idk if I would try yoga at this establishment due to the previous comments of yelling and fighting. So it could potentially become a yoga fight club, but then no one would get to talk about it. Either way this DG isn’t getting customers anytime soon, the lack of AC would walk me right back out the door.
