The best fruit tree nursery in Florida!

This nursery is fantastic! I am enjoying growing and having fresh fruit year around. My family picked jack fruit, sugar apples, avocados and key limes off our trees this week. Mike and Cristela are super knowledgeable and can help you decide what may grow best in your yard. In addition to fruit trees, I am loving my Blue Butterfly Pea flowers. I have made blue and purple tea, lemonade for friends and family. The prices are competitive with several different sizes available for many of their trees, so everyone can afford to have a little paradise in their own backyard!

Bought a fig tree from this business last year and this year I got 30-45 figs a day from this tree. Very knowledgeable about trees, fruiting times, and fertilization. Very helpful staff, enjoyed the golf cart ride in the nursery. Awesome place of business. Highly recommended

The best nursery for tropical fruit plants, they have so many options for rare fruit trees at fair prices. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The last time I went someone showed me around and explained plant care in detail for 40 minutes, very useful information!

Bought some fruit trees from here today. Was surprised at the variety of fruit trees they hold, and the different sizes they carry. They have everything you can think of. Ask for Minga, she is extremely nice and knowledgeable. I will most definitely make my way back here over the next couple of weeks.

Went to see what they had in stock but the heavier gentleman that resembles a white haired Donald Trump said “we can’t just have you walking around here”... So you’re telling me that the entire listing on your website is inaccurate and we can’t even look around to see what you actually have? Waste of time to say the least. I tried lessening the burden of the 2 hour drive by buying some lychees but it was $6 for a tiny little bag! I like nurseries where I can check out what they have and the employees make me feel welcome and help me understand their inventory. This place gets a 1 star rating because of the extremely rude representative that made me feel like a shop lifter, the staffs unwillingness to help, the inaccuracy of the plants listed on their website, and because they wanted to rip me off for a small bag of fruit. Edit: this review has been here for about 6 years and nobody has reached out to apologize or rectify their mistakes.

The best selection of trees. I came by to pick up a small tree and discovered just how large this company is. Probably thousands of trees to be seen. The selection of certain species is vast as well. Many different mango and Avocado varieties plus fig and passion fruit trees.Minga was my guide around the property. She was more than helpful and insightful. Not only did I get great service and a great tree (3 trees) , I was able to tour the vast selection of trees.I would ask for Minga to help me anytime I come to this Nursery. Thanks to her I know more about purchase and feel welcomed to come back.10/10 would recommend for anyone in need of a fruit tree.

Visited Excalibur numerous times over the past few years. Bought a total of about 30 fruit trees. Bought mostly mature (45G) or semi-mature (25G) trees, and a few small (3G) trees. Hired a professional to help "baby" the fruit trees, on top of TLC from everybody. The small trees survive/thrive better than the large trees . (Roots of all large trees seem to suffer severely from pot bound issue.) None of the large/mature trees have flowered/fruited to date. (Not sure if all large trees are indeed air-layered or grafted ? Or some are actually grown from seeds ?) Small trees (longan, mango, star fruit, avocado) are growing healthily & 2 have fruited. 1 Fig & 1 guava died in year 1. 1 Pomegranate died in year 2. All citrus lost to citrus greening last year. 3 lychee lost to LEM last year. The rest is doing well. One lesson learned : Don't buy large/mature trees. It's difficult to tell if they are indeed grafted/air-layered or not.
