It’s authentic old school, run by the proprietor, and, yes, you may have to wait if he’s taking a moment out.But the wait is worth it for the courteous and knowledgeable service. There’s a wonderful range of treasures. I picked up gifts for friends at home—both upscale and more simple for a young friend who doesn’t need jewelry she’ll feel guilty about losing, but still likes things that are distinctive.Being close by polo country, there was a nice array of horse-themed jewelry. Not right for anyone I was shopping for, but still fun to look at.…and I loved the over-the-top picture of the three ladies (and a pomeranian) in their boat.”
