Not the 21st century yet. Has a sort of card you purchase from them, like loading cash to a card to use their machines.
I hope they become more digital soon.

Older Coin operated when more modern businesses are going to plastic card. Very few benches to sit while waiting for laundry.

The washers where cheap and drying too you can buy laundry detergent and soap for cheap and you can exchange Bills for quaryers and overall had a good wash
