“there’s not really any other place like Trashe Vintage. My fiancé and I love to come here whenever we get to chance. Always love to see their cats. Great place.”

“Compassionate, Professional, and Thorough

Pick Up Chicks made a tough process so much easier. They were responsive, prompt, and completely reliable, handling all the senior facility’s requirements without a hitch. They did exactly what they promised—on time and with total transparency.

They gave us fair credit for sellable items, donated what they could, and left the apartment broom clean and ready. Most importantly, they took this burden off our shoulders with care and integrity.

If you’re facing a similar transition, I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“In 1852, in England, William Booth and his wife Catherine were inspired by the gospel of Jesus Christ to take their ministry directly to the streets. Rejecting the traditional church pulpit, they preached to those most in need, including the poor, homeless, hungry, and destitute. Despite disapproval from the established church, they trained evangelists across England and, in 1875, returned to London’s West End to form the Christian Mission.

In 1878, while reading the mission’s annual report, William Booth noticed the phrase “The Christian Mission is a volunteer army.” He famously crossed out volunteer army and replaced it with Salvation Army. From that point on, converts became “soldiers of Christ” or Salvationists. Their message spread quickly, and today the Salvation Army serves in over 100 countries.

The Salvation Army operates churches worldwide, known as Salvation Army Corps, but they are probably best known for their thrift stores. Purchases at these stores fund local emergency relief efforts and programs, including services in Palm Beach County. Many locations also support Adult Rehabilitation Centers, helping individuals combat addiction, and the organization is known for hiring ex-felons. Every donation or purchase directly contributes to meaningful community programs.

I discovered this Salvation Army store while driving through Lake Worth. Although the exterior was a bit cluttered with plastic tubs and bikes, the inside was clean, organized, and inviting. Inventory included like-new home goods, small appliances, art, furniture, linens, books, toys, and a large selection of clothing and accessories. Notably, there was beautiful furniture—a wood bed and an intricate wooden buffet table—and even a wedding dress.

Thrifting not only helps people save money but also keeps items out of landfills. The Salvation Army welcomes donations of gently used clothing, furniture, household goods, appliances, and even vehicles. Whether you’re hunting for vintage treasures, everyday essentials, or just browsing for a good deal, this store deserves a spot on your Palm Beach County thrift list.”

“My parents have been going to this store for years, the prices of course have gone up, but they are still lower than the mall. You can find good deals and if you think it's not a good deal, leave it, someone else will think its a good deal or keep checking back and see when that color tag goes on the store discount.”

“Large store. Decent inventory. More on the clothing side than the electronics and home side. Worth checking out. They definitely err on the side of putting things behind glass if they think it might have value seems like they end up with a lot of junk being 'protected' and you can't see it. Still, worth browsing.”

“I'm rating the online pickup experience: I went into the main 'bins' section by accident - the cashier kindly directed me to 3 doors down where it was. I gave my name. Picked up within 5 minutes. Items were well bagged/labeled. Excellent experience. I wish the handling fee wasn't so much at this location compared to other online goodwill stores, but it is what it is.

As for the 'Bins' - Look, people are feral here. The employees are doing the best they can and it maybe has worn down their kindness. The crowd that hangs around all day waiting for new bins to come out will throw hands. I don't blame the employees for trying to keep the peace. I don't recommend you go there unless you're willing to fight over scraps.”
