The customer service and friendliness of the employees the only 2 tines I have been to this Walgreens, ( I live in the area but the Walgreens on 6th is closer), has been a breath of fresh air. Customer service these days is so non existent, that I actually told my husband of the great experience I had here the other day. It was December 29 around 1:30. The staff at the store was helping an elderly lady with her photos, and greeting customers as they walked in, genuinely. The liquor store employee ( made my day) she will know who she is) with directing me and helping me and the most amazing spirit...I do not usually say this about Walgreens because usually the staff is definitely not trained in customer service, but this location made up for it. 10th Ave Walgreens staff ....keep it up, it is appreciated.

Wow an average of 2 stars for a Walgreens? How hard is this job really? Corporate, you need to do a clean sweep of the entire store, especially the pharmacy.

So many people on here complaining about the pharmacy are ridiculous. My wife and I have never had a problem with the staff. Im willing to bet money all the people calling them rude are coming in with an attitude and then get upset when they don't get what they want.

I got all my meds transferred out to a different Walgreens. I live a block away from this store and I refuse to go back because the pharmacy staff is so rude, they have no manners or customer service skills. Someone needs to go in and train them.

Denise, the pharmacist here, is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Rude off the bat with absolutely no provocation. I would go literally anywhere else to get medical services. There are plenty of pharmacies in the area, not worth dealing with the awful treatment. If you make the mistake of going here and see her, just turn around and go somewhere else because who knows what sort of capricious bs she’ll pull out of thin air. If you don’t believe me, just read some of the other reviews who mention her by name.

Had a property cleaning of the building. Threw a birds nest full of chicks onto the ground, and didn't even bother to move the poor little dead birds from the sidewalk by the main door. Not only cruel but unsanitary.

Rudest Pharmacy staff, all of them! Cancelled medications that was ready and filled to be picked up then refused to fill prescriptions while also there in person. Was leaving to go out of town the next day for holidays was in withdrawal from their neglect. 5 days without medication. Still denying to fill basic meds. Thank you Pharmacist Denise and Tech Bruce for your sheer lack of compassion and that goes for the rest of the techs as well. You don't play God with people's medicine. Place needs a thorough investigation! To go along with it this location along with many other Walgreen locations seem to be having an issue keeping and getting medications. Sick of the hassle these pharmacies endure onto us patients...

Sitting in the drive thru line for the last 25 minutes to take a covid test. Rather than have the person pull around after dropping off their prescriptions. They allowed them to sit in the drive thru lane waiting for them to fill their prescriptions. We are still waiting and the people are still sitting here. 15 minutes after my appointment time. I've been here since 10 minutes before my appointment.

I recently had an hypertension crisis in which my blood pressure was at stroke level, and I could have died. I was admitted to the hospital, which in turn, released me with a very critical prescription that was called in to this pharmacy.Two days later, I am still waiting for it to be filled. I ended up having to drive in the middle of the night to a 24-hour pharmacy that was 45 minutes away from where I live. I was in no condition to drive, but I didn't have anyone to help me, and delivery would take too long. This Walgreens is only a few blocks away, so If they had prepared it in time, I could have walked there. They would have been very culpable if something would have happened to me. The meds for my heart & blood pressure are critical. I'm going to transfer all of my RX to Publix!

Considering what the pharmacy staff is dealing with I must give 5 stars. I believe the young gentleman who helped me the other day name was Omar. There was a disgruntled person in the drive thru refusing to leave because his medication wasn't allowed to be filled until the 26th but was losing his mind and refusing to leave. The young man dealt with this situation with grace and I can see where this may cause confusion on wait times ..they were on top of things in the pharmacy and I can't say anything bad about the service.
