I’ve always valued the clean, well-maintained store and friendly service at the Batteries Plus on S. Florida Ave in Lakeland. As a customer with a lifetime warranty for battery replacement, I’ve had my Seiko watch battery replaced there several times without issue. However, on June 11, 2025, I drove 30 minutes to have my watch battery replaced before an international trip in three days, only to find that the employee lacked the necessary skills to perform the replacement. This was highly disappointing and unexpected, given my positive experiences in the past.

I have visited battery plus at 3230 S. Florida Ave. in Lakeland Florida. I've been there several times and it always been a pleasure Having employee by the name of Dominic helping me he's very pleasant and knowledgeable and he stands out. I've had other employees at the store attending to me, but it wasn't the same. Dominic was more knowledgeable and took charge in leadership It's a pleasure coming in to this battery plus. thank you

I brought the key fob for my 2006 Chrysler 300 in to get the battery replaced. No problem. They offered a one time replacement or a lifetime replacement cost. Since I've never had to replace the battery in the almost 20 years I've had the car, I figured the one time replacement would do, as I don't expect to keep it for another 20 years. He replaced the battery in the fob in just a few minutes, and it worked perfectly. For about a week. Stopped by the store on South Florida Ave here in Lakeland Fl on my way home from work today and asked if the wasrranty would cover a replacement if their battery only lasted a week. The young man behind the counter said that if you only buy the one time replacement, there is no warranty. I'll never use these people again.

If I could give ten stars I would because Dominick at Batteries Plus is not only knowledgeable, but someone who cares about his customers, and gets the job done. I needed a car battery that was not a normal size for an old 2008 Honda Fit. Nobody in town had one in stock. However, when I called Dominick, he was able to get one in less than 24 hours and at a very fair price. He followed up with me to make sure I knew he got the battery delivered to his store and ready for me to pick up. When you shop at Batteries Plus, you get two things; a fair-priced product and EXCELLENT customer service.

Dominic and the team here are the ONLY good part of dealing with T Mobile and Asurant for phone insurance repairs. These guys went the extra mile for us and got our phone up and running during a family emergency. Asurant wanted us to drive to another city on the other side of the county after work but before closing time. These guys got the part and completed the repair ahead of schedule!
