“My bicycle is 5 years old and the transmission has been loud and clanky from the very beginning. I have taken it back to the shop where it was purchased 3 times. I have also taken it to three other bike shops but no one has been able to solve the issue.

Last week I dropped it off at Road & Trail Bicycles in Highland City for tires and I mentioned the noisy transmission. They found the problem and fixed it. The bottom bracket (bearing carrier) was broken. They said it was likely over tightened when it was first assembled.

“I had lost use of one of my brake handles on my electric trike and had no idea how to fix it. I took it to the closest shop to me which was not Bents and they told me it was broken beyond repair and I would have to order an entire new brake assembly from the manufacturer and they could not work on it. I knew that I hadn't done anything to actually break it so I took it to Bents for a second opinion.
a young man by the name of Logan came out to help me and told me he thought he could fix it and after a few minutes of struggling with it he completely repaired my break. I was extremely impressed. we need more businesses like this in the area. Bents certainly did not make a lot of money on my repair but they earned a lifelong customer. I would highly recommend this place and if you are lucky enough to have a young man by the name of Logan work on your bike you are in for a treat.”
