I’ll start by saying that my repairs were completed and everything seems in good order. It was the whole process from to beginning to end that deserves 1 star. From the initial appointment, when I thought I would be dropping my jeep off to be fixed but it was just the inspection, to the 7 different dates I was promised repairs would be done and they weren’t, to the complete lack of communication from Joe Hudson about delays and expectations. If you can use another shop i would recommend it. For more detail, one of the delays was due to a specific aftermarket part that has been damaged. I told the shop when the inspection was done that the part was aftermarket and that stock parts would not fit. They ordered stock parts anyway and did not check the fit until the first day the jeep was supposed to be done. Of course it didn’t fit and they had to order the other part. That was the first of many delays, each one I had to call the shop on the day I was supposed to pick up the jeep to make sure I didn’t waste a trip. Really poor communication and the only shop I have ever called where the person answering the phone wouldn’t give any details about what was going on with repairs.

My vehicle was received by this business the 1st week of Feb 2023. we did the walk through. I spoke with one of the service tech rep who started it shouldn't take more than 4 to 6 weeks, and being that I am a usaa member and they are affiliated, it shouldn't take long. It is now going into May 2023. I still do not have my vehicle. Afain im tokd another day. I have been told 3 different auto body shop managers were assigned and transferred or let go. My vehicle was sitting for weeks before it was even touched I've been given 4 different pickup dates to be told no, it's not ready for another part that needs to be done. A trim tire alignment, each little minor parts takes a week. They do not communicate properly professionally and have extremely poor customer service when keeping the customer aware of issues or delays, even if it's major or minor. No feedback or heads up of what's going on. My 1st experience with an auto accident and auto repair it has been an overwhelming nightmare

Really great service & friendly staff. Everyone has been not but amazing to me, from start to finish and even offer great advice for dealing with the insurance companies adjusters. Ivy, Brian and Chris is such a great asset to the company and I’m so very thankful for them. We contacted Joe Hudson's Collision Center because it is a State Farm preferred facility. Our van is a Honda Odyssey wheel chair van, after they prepared an estimate for the repairs we were told to wait three weeks for the parts to be delivered. We explained that we needed the van back as soon as possible because to rent one was over a $1,000/week, we were assured that they would expedite the repairs. Three weeks later we were called and the parts were in and we were scheduled to deliver it to the collision center in a couple of weeks for repair. The van was delivered on a Tuesday and the next Friday we were called and told that they had changed management and they had decided not to repair our van because it was a wheel chair van. We had rented a wheel chair van for $1,000+/week, no apologies or offer to pay for the rental van, they knew from the very beginning that we had a wheel chair van, they estimated it in their parking lot. We took our Honda van to 3 other facilities and they each stated that there was no damage to the wheel chair conversion, just front end body damage. We had to start the entire process all over again, getting parts ordered from Honda and waiting to get scheduled for the repairs. This is not a reputable business, they do not stand behind their word, my advice is to go somewhere else, there are plenty of good body shops in the area. They are not customer oriented!

I have been to this joint like 4 times with 2 cars in the past (which was handled great). This place used to be customer oriented, not so much now. Most of our business was self pay but neither here nor there. I was told by some Zelda half asleep person on the phone that I didn't need an appointment, then I was asked when I got there upon opening if I had one? WTF people. Won't be back and due to me being confused and a bit irritated while the lady at the desk was being defensive and rude (with a smile) I hate that. I don't need that kind of fake s**** I said I guess I'll just leave and she said 'yes, you should'. Seriously b***** There were a few ppl in the waiting area so I suppose I should go away and not rock your boat being upset about conflicting info. Tell Zelda to GTFO! I won't ever bring any of our 2 vehicles back to that place. I'm going elsewhere with our business. I think this place has been invaded by aliens or something has gone wrong with this s*** show. Don't bother, there are many other places to go including Caliber Auto body. It's just down the road folks.

I sent my car to this location over a month ago for repairs and within the first couple of weeks I was left in the dark on the progress of the repairs. I had to go out of my way to make multiple phone calls a week(not all were answered and no voicemails were listened to) only to hear Jason the manager say "parts", that's it, just "parts". It took 3 weeks for these parts to be installed. I received a call one morning stating that my car would be done by this afternoon and I could pick it up, I was unable to make it at that time due to a long shift but I made a call back by 2 pm that day to let Jason know that I can squeeze in an hour of my time the next morning to pick it up, they did not answer so I left a voicemail that, of course, was not listened to. I called at 4 again that day to confirm and Ivey answered and promised that Jason was right and to set up a ride for the morning at 8am. I arrived at 8am to Jason letting me know that the car was being aligned at an entirely different shop. I told him that took an entire day of pay out of my pocket and he gave me a nasty look and said I could wait if I wanted to. I then left a complaint on the website threatening a bad review which was the ONLY thing that has them get off of their behinds. They delivered the car and reduced the price of my deductible but the job is not even complete. There are missing parts on my bumper and the skid plate was nearly touching the ground. If you want your time wasted and an incomplete job then this is the place for you! If not then go to another collision center and save yourself the headache. Update: I put the car on a lift and noticed a lot of missing parts and aftermarket parts. The subframe had a loose bolt and one of my horns is missing.Services: Body & Trim

The service that was provided at first was exceptional however after a few months I'm sorry to say that the front bumper where it attaches to the fender kept coming apart when I return to your shop to have it looked at the lady repair clerk kept insisting it was my fault and had complete negative attitude about it when she finally came to her senses she told me to come back because, again my fault, the clips were missing. When I return to have it fixed my wife return the car to me with the same problem The issue still had not been fixedWith the attitude alone made me not want to EVER have my car repaired there again ever and I'm going to report this to my Insurance company The clerk told me they had a lot of new people. Hats off to Joe Hudson's on Wabash Road in Lakeland Florida. Especially to our service wrier Joyce. She is awesome! We had some "minor" cosmetic damage to our F150 due to a vehicle scrape in a parking lot. Their insurance company sent me a check for a nominal amout. Joyce from Joe Hudson's prepared an estimate for everything we needed to restore our truck to new, which was twice the amount of the check. She filed for a supplement. One of the techs found some additional damage to the bed while inspecting underneath. Had to get insurance adjuster out a second time. We picked up our truck yesterday. Perfect! Look brand new! Joyce is very pleasant and professional. She kept me informed on a regular basis regarding the status of the repair. That was awesome. Another pleasant surprise was the inside of the truck had been detailed! Totally unexpected. Joe Hudson's has earned my repeat business. I would highly recommend them to folks in my area. Lied about how quickly they could fix my truck. It's still not done because of them. I'm a disabled veteran and can't go anywhere without my truck it carries my battery powered scooter that I need. My truck is a diesel powered and they knew most of the repairs were mechanical and they don't even have anyone qualified to work on diesel pickups. It also took them forever to just get the parts ordered. It cost me a lot of money for a car rental because of them.

Joe Hudson with Chris in charge. Terrible service! I was not feeling well and wanted to leave quickly. Chris comes out and tells me that I was threatening as l was saying that l would be reviewing all services as it was a nightmare throughout. My car was there for well over two weeks for really minor repairs. I had to call Joe Hudson several times on my own to get any status report! I had to call to see if it was towed to the proper place! I will not do business with them again! I had a better experience with Meisner in Lakeland with great office staff! The repairs were not explained at all. They certainly did not do anything above and beyond whatsoever. Chris has nothing to offer in people skills. He should be replaced with someone who is able to work with all customers! Chris does not realize that he is in the service industry to provide good service. He was a bully in his demeanor to me! All customers are allowed to review any services without any bullying or retaliatory remarks!

I brought my Cadillac to Joe Hudson’s after a collision. I was very pleased with their professionalism, friendliness and most importantly, their communication with me during this process. I was always made aware of what was going on and I felt very comfortable to reach out with any questions I had. My Cadillac now looks and drives great and I love the warranty that comes along with their quality service. Many thanks to the entire staff for a job well done.

Really a great place to have your car repaired. We dropped the car off and was ready in a couple of days. They kept us up to date through out the repair process. We received the car back looking great and clean. Thank you for taking care of us
