BUYER'S BEWARE!! Unbelievable experience yesterday. Signs we're placed on full end cap of toys appearing to be on bogo by one get one get one 75% off.Additionally there was clearance merchandise marked and an additional sign placed up that said 50% off of already markdown clearance items and 50% off of Summer toys and miscellaneous. My first attempt to the register nothing rang up ON SALE. I went and told the manager the sign was misleading because they're was noting on sale on the end cap that's marked , she said she was required to hang signs all over the store so that's what she does and nothing's going to change. I was like okay I was just bringing it to your attention. The employee working the cash register went out of way and showed me a few things. She had to walk away because she had a customer at the register.I took her advice and I gather the things she helped me with I went back to the cash register along with my other things. The manager was at the cash register apparently had a issue with the current customer and the 50 percent additional off clearance. She said if you had read the sign you would have seen that was a OLD SALE to the customer I was like ohh my! My stuff that an employee helped me pick out once again did not ring up on sale the employee asked for help from the manager again.I said it's okay I don't want anything I'm too confused about what and what isn't on sale. THE MANAGER SAID TO ME I'M TAKING THE SIGNS OUT OF THE WHOLE STORE FOR YOU AND THE OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT CAN'T READ. I said I am not illiterate I can read and write the signs are placed with products that are not on sale. SHE SAYS TO ME I NEVER SAID YOU WAS COMPLETELY ILLITERATE I DIDN'T SAY YOU COULDN'T WRITE. I felt so intimidated and threatened by her. I now just start to pay for my stuff so I can get out of the store as I'm doing this SHE IS STARING AT ME WITH THIS MEAN GAZE WAITS UNTIL I FINISH PAYING AND SAYS.... IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER I'LL CALL YOU THE NEXT TIME WE HAVE A SALE. I said no thank you I will never come back in the store again. I WAS WORRIED FOR THE EMPLOYEE BECAUSE SHE WAS SO UNBELIEVABLE DISRESPECTFUL TO HER,ME AND A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER WHO HAD LEFT. WHYYYY?? There was no need for that!I have a friend who in the past was a Dollar general Manager she explained to me in a matter of minutes there are blue dots and blue stars,yellow dots and yellow stars and the meaning behind them are seasonal. As a manager she could have just simply explained that and helped.Her own employee didn't even understand! The EMPLOYEE HAD THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE GOING OUT OF HER WAY TRYING TO HELP BUT HOW IS SHE SUPPOSED TO HELP WHEN SHE HASN'T EVEN BEEN TRAINED ABOUT THE DOTS AND THE STARS AND THE MEANING BEHIND THEM! THE MANAGER WASN'T HELPING HER EITHER THE MANAGER WAS JUST MAKING HER OWN EMPLOYEE FEEL STUPID! Customer service is resolving issues, keeping the customers happy, problem solving not bullying, belittling people and disrespect.

This store is always closed. Everyday they have an excuse to close the doors day or night. Smh they need a better manager or a family dollar here bc this is a waist of time and store.

This store, tried hard, EVERYONE in there is mostly helpful to expect more would be like asking everyone to be a decent person, that will never happen....I don't wanna say anything bad, they try. There's allot to do in those stores....customer service is sometimes not there...but maybe the lady was just having a bad day....9/9/2022, went back tonight for a fee things,register wouldn't work, so guy looks at me and walks away saying next register (all my things were already on the counter). He isn't a customer service employee...at allll! I'll just go back to Rockridge dollar general...helpful people will get my money...or maybe just swap over to family dollar ..this is the receipt, in case you want to know the clerk that really didn't wanna be there at all.

Leo the manager can benefit from training in customer service-was unwilling to extend a small courtesy price reduction for a packaged item that was short on product but the only size available. So the package will go back on the shelf to short another customer.

There's a coke shortage going on....this store had 2 pallets of coke wrapped up with a DO NOT TOUCH SIGN! Great business choice! I'll go elsewhere, where I CAN BUY WHATS ON THE SALES FLOOR!!!

This store usually has a decent selection of items & even when there is a bunch of customers the checkout line usually moves rather fast. Unlike most other locations that even have more registers for checkout. So keep up the good work .
