The 2 girls in the back were extremely unprofessional- rolling eyes and sighing because I was trying to fill out the form and they wanted to ask questions while I was doing that and I told one of them I would done in a moment and then eye rolling and sighing at me when I was on the phone with my husband trying to to verify insurance with him and one kept talking to me while I was on the phone in the middle of speaking. I also have a double ear infection which is causing temporary hearing loss so I have to be close and really looking at someone to hear everything- which is hard to do across the room like one girl tried to do and when both are talking at once it's hard to understand. I liked the Eye Dr but so glad I don't have to deal with being treated like that from the other who work there for having trouble hearing and trying to figure out my insurance.

No walk in eye exams!! The website says so but I drove 20 minutes and was told to come back March 20th. False advertising!!

Shout out to the young lady with locs who fixed my frames for me today. She jumped right into action, without hesitation. I thought there was a possibility they would turn me away because I ordered from an online vendor. NOPE! I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU!!!?

went to Eyeglass world because I could go on my day off and it be quick and easy. Had an appointment for myself and my son and we were there for maybe an hour.Mike helped us and was very patient in regards to us choosing glasses and was very kind to my son!

decided to make a appointment on my day off, both receptionists took my insurance card didn't tell me it flagged unauthorized so i paid in full not knowing until after i swiped my card. No one would've ever told me out of all 3 people who was assisting me. brought it up to the sales lady who tries to make you buy glasses and she confirms that my insurance didn't go through. Dre and his colleagues could have definitely addressed it to me but instead decided to proceed with me self paying clueless of if that was actually co-pay price or not

I have been going to Eyeglass World for about 10 years and this is just one of the major reasons why—While at my appointment, I had mentioned to the associate that I would want to get new lenses because I had purchased two very expensive frames in 2019 and had the lenses replaced last year, but that the prescription never quite felt right (I wear progressive transition glasses). A young man named, Jerry Coffey, who interceded, and asked if he could assist me instead of the associate. I came to find out that this man was the new General Manager who came to this store 7 months ago. Jerry looked at my records, my prescription, and then looked at my glasses and determined that the remade lenses were not correctly fitted. This man told me that because it was just one year to the day of my lenses being made, that he was going to remake the lenses for me, free of charge because the prior management did not address the lenses being fitted correctly so that I could see properly. All this senior lady can say is, “WOW!” In today’s world of business first, people last, this gentleman positively turned my day all around!Now I began this review saying this is just one of the reasons. However, putting people’s needs, actually coming forth and investigating the entire situation, is a HUGE breath of fresh air for this senior lady, and I believe people like Mr. Coffey and his staff, are bringing back trustworthiness to at least the vision business! I highly recommend Eyeglass World for all of your vision needs because from the associates, techs, and doctors, they all offer their professional expertise with your needs in mind first, free of charge! Thank you!

Always fantastic customer service and help whenever we have any questions. Have two boys with glasses and they go through them being young and active. They are always great about honoring warranty and adjusting glasses to fit them comfortably. Jerry Coffey was patient and helped me get two pairs fixed for my one son and when they discontinued one pair allowed me to pick out a new one and got them all set up. Will continue to go back and have them take care of all our glasses needs. Highly recommend if you have children with glasses, can’t beat the prices and warranties for them.

I wanted to take a moment to express my thoughts and experiences regarding my recent visit to your store. I want to start by acknowledging the outstanding service I received during my interactions with the doctors; it truly was a wonderful experience, and I appreciate their expertise and care.However, I regret to say that my retail visit left much to be desired. I had a particular type of frame in mind and had hoped for some assistance in finding it. Unfortunately, when I inquired about this, the response I received was rather disheartening. I was told that the frames I was looking for were scattered throughout the store, and I wasn't offered any further help in locating them. This lack of guidance made the shopping experience less than satisfactory.To make matters worse, when I looked around for assistance, I noticed that three of your associates were not attending to customers; instead, they were sitting at their respective desks, engrossed in their phones. This gave me the impression that I was being overlooked as a potential customer in need of assistance.I eventually sat down with one of the retail associates to discuss my preferences, only to be interrupted by another associate who asked how many people were waiting to see the doctor. She then informed me that she should not be performing additional dilations as it was already 6:00 p.m. and the store closes at 7:00 p.m.What made this situation most disappointing was the fact that there was a full hour left before closing time, and I was the only customer in the store at the time. Nevertheless, the associates appeared preoccupied with their phones and inattentive to customersI share this feedback with the hope that it will help you improve the overall customer experience in your store. While I greatly appreciated the doctors' professionalism and care, the retail visit left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.

We stopped by for an adjustment on our glasses. We also had some questions regarding progressive lenses are we’re approaching the time were the two sets of glasses isn’t fitting. We spoke with Mike who was a wealth of knowledge with progressives and eased our concerns with them. He also adjusted and fixed our glasses. We will be back to purchase our new progressive leveled for sure

The staff was able to rush two pairs of glasses for me right before they closed within an hour when every other place was telling me two weeks minimum. Very professional and accommodating service will definitely go again

I always have a hard time picking out glasses and drag my feet even going but went into eyeglass world for the first time today and absolutely loved working with Allison and Brie. Both of them answered all of my questions and helped me find not 1 but 2 pairs that will be ready the same day. I will not go anywhere else for glasses again. Thanks girls!!

Today,July 26th,2023 I entered Eyeglass World at 3635 US 98,in Lakeland and was greeted by Allison. I needed inexpensive eye glasses to get back to work with,and Allison went above and beyond with her professionalism and knowledge of her product. I was able to purchase 2 pair for 89.00,plus 15 additional dollars for tint on one of glasses…I was honestly doubtful of the same day availability,except for approximately a hour from completion of the transaction..I was walking out of the store,being another happy customer.Good job..Allison

Amazing staff! General Manager helped work my 16 year old into there already packed day so she could get her Drivers License same day and not be disappointed! So so thankful for Jerry and the staff at the Lakeland location for helping me remain mom of the year!!! 5 stars plus many many more!!!
