Don’t waste your time and money. I’m visiting on vacation and accompanied my dad and was present for all interactions.
The experience after making an appointment has been a disappointing. Made an appointment for 10:00am for an oil change and a brake job and specifically asked if they could turn break drums and rotors and they assured me they could be done. We showed up at 9:45am to drop the truck off and left expecting it to be done in a few hours. There was no update so my dad called the shop to check the status around 3:30pm, and they said it hasn’t been started yet. When he asked why the said “ They had higher priority jobs show up.” When he asked to speak with a manager they said there wasn’t one available at the moment. We drove to the shop to find out what the issue was and to speak to a manager.
When we got there at 4:00 pm he requested to speak to a manager and they had to page one. A few min later a service manager walked into the lobby and said “what, I’m off the clock” in a very put off tone. My dad explained the situation and how disappointed he was. Immediately the excuses came of being short staffed and how certain techs can do breaks etc. I’m not familiar with Firestone’s techs and that may be true. Either way my dad’s truck was forgotten about and they mismanaged jobs. After getting through the excuses his truck was pulled into a bay and they started around 4:25pm.
The tech took us back and started to explain and showed us the brakes and what he recommends etc. I started to get the feeling they just wanted us out of the shop with as little work as possible. I requested the drums be turned and they said they cannot do this because they are to big. I asked for rotors to be turned they said they cannot do that either due to surface rust. The tech suggested we replace a brake line and a caliper on the passenger side. I asked about the parking brake and told him how it doesn’t work, and I would like it function. The tech explained “ Automatic vehicles don’t really need a parking break.” My dad told him what he wanted done to the truck because he was frustrated with the experience. They will be completing it the next day against my suggestion of taking it to a different shop.
I have some mechanical know how and know the excuses this shop made was purely laziness and is unsafe. They blamed the situation on a new manager and staffing etc.

Service (battery replacement) was completed quickly but I was surprised that a warranty replacement battery had a service charge. Usually warranty replacement have been free of charge at other vendors

Took 3.5 hours for an oil change all while the techs did more talking and joking around then working. I watched one tech stand at the back of the shop and talk with some guy who pulled up in his car for 30 mins, I watched two techs play towel slap with each other for awhile. I even over heard the tech that was working on my truck admit that another tech had refused to do my oil change and moved on to another car behind me. Nahh I’m good I’ll go somewhere cheaper that’s more up to the task next time.

I brought my own tires there and had them mounted and balanced. They did a great job on that.
What I found strange is that they felt the need to check my battery and tell me that it was bad, even though the battery is a year old. I said I would just bring it to the place where I bought it from and have it checked.
They also added to the report that my tires were at the end of life, no kidding? That is why I having you install new tires in the first place! The oil EOF is also BS, Cadillac’s tell you when you need an oil change and I’m not even close, the indicate the oil level is low, it is not, I checked it myself. Plus how do they know it’s low? The car was never out of my sight and they never even opened the hood!
What was really strange is it while I was waiting for my car to be serviced? Another woman ran into the same problem which she was told her battery was bad. She also said hers was old and that she would bring it to where she bought it from.
So what is the conclusion that their battery tester is bad since two new batteries from two different customers suddenly are bad within a year?
That my computer oil life monitor is bad? They the technician is so good he can tell oil levels without even OPENING the hood and checking the dipstick?
Or is it that Firestone is trying to make money by running a scam “courtesy checks”? I’m going with number 3. I’ll even add the picture of the report. I’m thinking of looking into a class action lawsuit for this obvious scamming of people.
It’s a shame I have to leave a 1 star review for scam artist like Firestone.

They did nothing to my car and charged me $189 for a test to figure out what’s wrong. These tests are usually free at auto repair shops. I got the test done for free at autozone and it told me the exact same thing. They also didn’t tell me upfront what they were going to charge me. I found out after. Had the “service” been free I would have gotten the necessary work done there. I opted for another auto shop for the services.

I had a tire going flat and called to see if it would be possible to bring my car in. I was told okay and thinking the tire would need to be replaced, I asked if they had one. I was told they were in stock. I knew it might be a wait since I didn't have an appointment. But I sat for 3 hours without anyone even looking at my tire. They finally brought my car in and informed me the tire would need to be replaced, but wait, not just that tire but all 4. My car had a little over 16,000 miles on it at the time. There's no way they all needed to be replaced. Plus they no longer had the tire I needed in stock, but could make a great deal on 4 tires of some other brand. Do I look like I was born yesterday? Also why is the hood open on my car when the tech is supposed to be looking at a flat tire. So I told them to give me my car back and I'll get a tire somewhere else. I just hope nothing else happens since they had my hood open for no apparent reason. It's hard to believe with all the social media available that a business would try so hard to be dishonest in their customer service. When my car does need a set of tires in the future, I promise they won't be Firestone.

Couldn’t align my car due to bolts seizing. Something was done bc now my car is shaking when I turn right. Battery died 2 days after going here. Bought tires in October and they said I needed 4 new tires. Couldn’t patch or replace 1 tire. If it was warrantied they can replace 1 tire. 4 mechanics behind desk on their phones when customers waiting. Just a bad vibe. Worth getting another opinion or going to another location.

Called for information on tires, I was hung up on twice and left on hold a third time until I realized that maybe that wasn't the type of place I wanted to be doing business with. So then I finally hung up the phone and called someone else...

This was my first experience with Firestone and I will not be returning. The entire reason I booked with them was because I needed a transmission flush so I added an oil change, tire rotation and brake inspection…. I was given a quote over the phone for $104 and it may rise if they needed to do the flush and that it would be in the notes. I checked out with an extra $10 over quoted price and the clerk had no idea about the transmission flush so it wasn’t done. I wasted my only day off to wake up early, to drive 30 min away for an overpriced oil change that I could have gotten done less than 5 min away

They were very honest people. They explained to me exactly what was going on. I came in for one thing and pointed out other things that needed to be done. They fit us in the booking and they could’ve said no but they were so welcoming. Thank you guys for all your hard work and especially your honesty and kindness.

Be very careful, they are going to break your car and they don't know how to fix it and they don't know how to align a car. They don't have the ability or the knowledge to align a car and they tell you that you have to change parts to get it fixed and then you say yes. They have to change the parts so that the car can be aligned and I paid more than 300 dollars in parts and they were not the parts that they said, they do not know how to do their job, they are not mechanics, they are scammers
