Goodwill Lakeland Superstore offers a large, bright, and clean shopping environment with over 15,000 square feet dedicated to bargain hunting. Customers can find a variety of items including clothes, purses, shoes, hats, and homewear, making it a fun place to discover affordable treasures. The store is known for its friendly staff, with one reviewer highlighting the kindness of a cashier who made their day. However, some shoppers have experienced less positive interactions, such as an older cashier who was dismissive and unfriendly during a return, though the store manager was helpful. Prices at the store are generally okay but have become quite high, with some customers feeling that the cost of used items is nearly the same as new retail prices, which they find unreasonable given the lack of warranties or return options. Many believe the store's increased overhead costs have led to higher prices, and some feel that the pricing no longer justifies supporting the store’s charitable mission. A few shoppers have expressed disappointment at the limited selection of men’s clothes and shoes, mostly available in XL sizes, and at the inefficient use of space for new or non-secondhand items. Despite these issues, Goodwill Lakeland Superstore remains a popular spot for those looking for affordable secondhand finds and a pleasant shopping experience.
Getting WAY to expensive for used clothing someone gave away . Poor people should be able to afford to shop there not just the well off . Everyone working there is so nice and helpful though ❤️

And the people that work... read full comment
