DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I received a massage as a gift from family in December with no expiration date. Called on March 18th with the hopes of getting in same day which they had 1 appointment for 7pm. I accepted the appointment And explained that I had what I thought was a gift card after reading the card to her she explained to me that it was considered a transfer of service that was gifted to me. But proceeded to make the appointment I showed up I filled out 2 forms and I was taken back. Once back with the massage therapist I remembered the card and said who did I need to show this to? Nobody at the desk asked. She explained I could show it to the desk after my massage. Afterwards I went to the desk there was a lobby full of people and I mean every chair. The first and lady asked for payment And when I showed her the card she Ask for their information for their account and I don't know what she's talking about so I told her the name of the person who gave me the card and her phone number and she said well they don't have any credits so you're gonna have to pay. I called the person who gave it to me and they said what are you talking about I paid for this already, because she was never a member and all she asked for was a gift card and this is what she received. The front desk girl got another person involved and we went round and round about this with them speaking out loud in a lobby full of customers with everybody staring and I was mortified. She was loud and I guess she thought if she said "ma'am" in front of whatever else came out of her mouth that she was being polite or professional but it felt like neither. They then proceeded to charge the card on file they had taken from my family member that they used when she purchased the gift card without her consent or knowledge. The staff here is unprofessional and lack in people skills. The overall atmosphere is just ok. For a spa experience I've definitely had better at Day dreams in Lakeland. This place reminds me of someone impersonating another. From afar they might be able to fool you but if you look closer you'll notice the truth. Dirty floors and bathrooms with crappy rough brown paper towels to dry your hands, masseuse wiping the bed sheet down that I laid on naked for the next client without changing the sheet. Right in front of me. Subpar front end staff that needs retraining in every facet of customer service and the spa industry. SAVE YOUR MONEY- GO ELSEWHERE

Carol did a great job with massages. The staff was friendly and nice. I am rating this only 3 stars and want to make people aware of their cancellation policy. I called on 3/7 to cancel my membership due to financial issues. My membership did not renew until 3/20. I was told I would still be charged on 3/20 then it would cancel after that. It’s like holding someone hostage, it’s wrong. I gave them plenty of a notice. They state I can still use it for 60 days after that I lose it.I really don’t understand my cancelling if they continue to bill me…. I was told I could put my membership on hold but again feel like I am being held hostage and for this reason I will never do business with them again… so consumers beware.

Staff is rude & snotty. Left name & number & never got call back. Went in to purchase & told something different than quoted on phone when I called. If I get that kind of service before actually receiving a service? No thanks. Went to Daydreams & was treated well, felt welcomed & received what I wanted for $100 less. Y'all's loss Hand and Stone!

I am very unhappy with the service here. I was suggested to get a membership after I got a massage at this location. At the moment I wasn’t sure if I need it. Front desk person, who is also a manger assistant, told me that I can cancel anytime. When I called to cancel, they surprised me that I still have to pay one month of the membership because the due date to cancel without payment had passed. Just want to alarm everyone to read the terms and conditions very carefully so you don’t get tricked.

My facial person was amazing. Miscommunication with the front desk and pricing, I don't understand why they can't be clear about pricing I felt robbed and overcharged. I used a gift card for $127 and had to pay an additional $60. I still don't understand why I am being charge the $60. Not coming back again.

My spouse purchased a membership in March. We quickly realized we wouldn’t use the services that often. On May 23 at 4:07pm, we called to pause the membership as we would be out of town for the month of June and didn’t want to incur charges. While out of the country, on June 14th, we received a text from our financial institution that Hand & Stone had in fact charged our account the $69.95 monthly fee. This chaWAS NOT AUTHORIZED. I will call again today in attempt to cancel the membership and request a refund.

Very disappointed. They texted me to schedule my appointment, so I responded to the text to confirm that I wanted to reschedule and then they charged me for NOT SHOWING UP because they said I responded to the text number that does not get checked and also I emailed the wrong email address trying to reschedule as well, so be very careful when communicating with this business. They will charge you if you do not cancel within 24 hours no matter what, even if you can prove that you tried to contact them, they do not care.
