Absolute worst experience ever. After giving them over 20,000 dollars upfront and all kind of parts to start a build on my 69 gto. (A project I dedicated to my grandfather with dementia who gave me the car) they made excuse after excuse and dragged me on for over one year, saying they’re working on it slowly by slowly. Weeks on end without updates. My car sat in their shop for 15 months before I got so fed up, I hired another shop to take the car. They are now holding all my money I gave them upfront and all my parts. I am currently in a legal dispute with them and have retained an attorney and will be suing them into oblivion if this isn’t sorted out by next week. I don’t usually leave bad reviews because everyone has to eat but these guys are crooks. I’ll consider deleting this review once my money and parts are returned.

Beware of their 5 star reviews. I trailered my 56 Chevy nomad to this shop to have an upgraded Vintage Air Gen 5 system installed. They asked for $2500 in advance to pay for parts. After waiting over 3 weeks and no new system installed the owner called and said, “why get this installed we have your original system blowing 54 degrees”. No new parts installed, no receipt and it hasn’t blown very cold. Thinking I’d get a refund of some kind I had to pay another $500 to get it released. Stay away!

This review is way overdue but well deserved. I brought my classic Cadillac to Main St Harrells Automotive in 2023. I was having fuel injections problems and their mechanic suggested that I convert the fuel injection to a carburetor. They took all that old FI crap out and replaced it with a Edelbrock carburetor. Not only does the car run a lot better the engine is relieved of all that excess FI crap and the engine looks way better. They did a great job! NOT SURE WHY BUT IT WON'T ALLOW ME TO DO A 2ND SEPERATE REVIEW, SO I'M ADDING A PART 2. August 2024 I took my Cadillac to a un-named local repair shop to have a new AC installed. After the mechanic installed the AC and charged the system it appeared to be working fine but as I was driving home the AC quit and I smelled electrical smoke. I immediately took the car back and he made some adjustment and re-charged the system again, and once again it appeared to be working fine. This time as I was driving home the AC quit again and there was actual smoke coming from under my hood. The AC clutch ceased up. Again I immediately turned around and went back to this shop. The mechanic put the blame on the AC compressor, he said the compressor was faulty. This clown would not refund me for the part nor the labor. Expensive lesson learned!
So the next time I had my AC installed I decided to call the experts at Harrells Main St Auto. I dropped my Cadillac off and they thoroughly check over the AC system, installed the compressor, charged it up and had is running by the next day. I picked it up and drove it from Lakeland to Tampa and the AC was nice and cool the whole time. I don't know why I didn't go to Harrell in the first place. Great job again guys!

Ramona is horrible person to deal with. I informed her I wanted a radiator installed but I would supply radiator and that my condenser for ac was operating while heater was on. She charged me $119 to diagnosis issues I had no concerns about and then said I can't use my own parts because I have a non classic car.After paying the $119 diagnosis fee she won't release my exterra so I had to file complaint with Florida Dept of agriculture vehicle repair complaint unit

If you don't like to be taken advantage of please don't take your car here they are the home of the bait and switch they stick you up without a gun I drove the car in and had to have it towed back they didn't even put the car back together so I am out of 3,000 and my car is torn apart BEWARE

I was here for a State inspection and Veronica was extremely professional as she took the time to answer all of my questions. My inspection was very through. Although a few things need to be done, I can drive more confidenty, knowing that my van is up to the task.
