It would be better if they had more than the standard fare, more of the specialty items on display. It was hard to visualize what we found on the website because it wasn't available at the store.

Sales person did not ask appropriate questions and was more interested in sharing her personal information. Spent considerable large amount of money on a refridgerator and dishwasher. Dishwasher was delivered and no plumber was scheduled. Scheduled plumber. He broke a tile in my kitchen, had difficulty how to make it fit correctly. requested door on refridgerator to be reversed. Was told it could not be done. Holes for door to be reversed are there. Run around with department to schedule. Told not on original order and cannot do this. Spoke to a different person, said she added to order, scheduled appointment for team to come out. Did not receive text for timeframe of team arrival night before so called and was told appointment was cancelled because it wasn’t on original order. No text, no phone call, no e-mail to notify me of cancellation. I was just supposed to wait all day for no one to show up. This is a ridiculous policy that they cannot resolve my situation. Never ever buy anything in North Lakeland Home Depot again. Was planning to get new stove, microwave, washer and dryer next month. Guess it is there loss.

Took my girlfriend with me to get a few pots and look at plants but there were 3 employees standing right next to us in the garden center just talking loudly. It made my girlfriend uncomfortable and we just left. They were also yelling for some other employee to come close out her register. Extremely unprofessional.
When to checkout and I thought all the registers were self checkout. Turns out the one I started scanning my stuff on was supposed to have a cashier. She came up and told me that we her register not a self checkout. Where did she even come from??? Might as well have been self checkout!
When we got in our car, there was a guy who was supposed to be returning the carts just leaning against a car texting on his phone. Where are the managers to this store????
I used to like Home Depot, seems like Lowes is going to be our new normal spot for home improvement and gardening needs if this doesn't improve. Awful experience.

Went in to buy quarter round and miter box. Walked tools 3 or 4 times and could not find miter boxes. No associate in sight. Found one in hardware but people were lined up waiting to talk to him. Picked up 10 pcs of quarter round and went to register in pro sales. Asked cashier if they had miter box and she said 'I couldn't tell you." Told her I looked for associate and couldn't find anyone. She said "there's nobody here today, everybody has the flu.'
I get being shorthanded but not a total lack of service and the "I don't care attitude." That's what I see in both Depot stores and Lowes in Lakeland. If only we had another choice I'd never go back.

I bought an online item, the christmas minion, and after being delivered to this store, they sold it. They had proof it was delivered, however, somehow no employee received it and it was left in the wrong area where someone took it. Very disappointed with they way they handle online orders. Now they're out of stock.
UPDATE:
Home Depot reached out and offered a solution for when the item is back in stock, I could still be able to get it at the same price. Although still a bit disappointed the way things happened, I appreciate them solving this quickly to make it right and make the customer happy. They apologize and showed they care for their customers.

Tool rental is only open until 8 p.m and you wouldn't know until a "worker " tells you "Yeah, it's been that way for years." Those it's not posted anywhere
