My experience with this company and employees has been less than satisfactory and a trainwreck .The lack of customer service/care by the lakeland fl location and the companies customer care support dept was less than satisfactory ,the furniture was poor quality and the sales/MGT employees falsely represent the sales. should i go on?????

From the moment I searched the Hudson website I was then immediately contacted by text and email (honestly I do not even recall giving my information). We felt pressure to purchase which was not ok, we should have looked elsewhere then. We really liked what we were looking at and decided to go to the showroom in Lakeland and browse (we made the salesman aware our home was not ready yet) and still felt pressured to purchase which we declined. Once we moved in to our home (months later) we decided to purchase one of the items we saw - four kitchen chairs. We purchased in October online and they were delivered in November. The chairs were not at all the quality of the product we saw in the showroom. The driver was argumentative over a wobbly chair saying "some chairs wobble" and blaming the tile floor after I moved it multiple times to show him it was in fact the chair and the others did not wobble. Another chair was split down the side, the other two had seams down the legs - the legs are not wide enough to warrant a seam. We sent all four back and I had to call two different phone numbers to ask for a refund, of which I was assured would take 5-7 businesss days. Today, 3 business days after the return, Amy called me from Hudson's and was trying to convince me there was nothing wrong with the chairs and maybe we did not order the same chairs we saw in the showroom. Excuse me? This is how you try to retain customers and recover a sale? Then Amy advises the refund will take 5-7 business days, when I explained I was advised the order was cancelled on Saturday and I was told to expect my refund with 5-7 business days from Saturday - she had the audacity to say I probably did not call the internet line. Hudson's should consider some intensive customer service training. The quality of those chairs were not in line with the price and the quality of the service was unacceptable. You have lost customers and referrals.

I bought a love seat, sofa and a end table from Hudson Furniture back in spring of 2021. Picked exactly what I wanted and slowly over a few months it started showing up.Disappointed as I was that a few months of ownership the lining in one of the seats started to split, one side of the electric loveseat stopped working and a few other things.Well, this is where my poor star review comes in. I purchased the warrenty or repair option when buying from Hudson Furniture. I have been in contact with their “Care Protection” since Jun 16th and have been running in circles trying to get my claim going get a repair or maybe a part or something to get my electric chair to slide out?At this point I no longer care and just wish to warn the rest of you that if you’re looking to make a fairly costly investment in your furniture. DO NOT buy here and DO NOT buy the warrenty. You will face the exact problem I’m having and eventually will give up.

First time visit. Only needed a lighted china cabinet. Chad Barber was there ready and willing to help. We went over what seemed like hundreds of options to choose from and made our decision. We added insurance plus delivery and made a payment. Nice and easy. Then we altalked about eventually upgrading our bedroom. Chad even told us about steps for our old cat so she can get on the bed a bit easier. Chad is very personable and fun. We'll be back to talk to Chad in a few months.

Chad listened to our request and was able to present available options per our desires. He is knowledgeable about the merchandise and answered all our questions. We were very happy to close the deal and was promised prompt delivery.

Chad was easy to work with on pricing, his product knowledge was great, he answered all of our questions and they had exactly what we had in mind after going to 3 others furniture stores. And it was in stock, ready to deliver in just a few days.

This is our second time buying furniture from Hudson. we love the quality of their furniture, however not quite happy with your amount of time it takes to get the furniture. This time I received a delivery on June 27 and upon inspecting everything one of the chairs that we purchased at a cut in the fabric on the front of the chair I sent pictures right away as requested to have this chair replaced or repaired. I have tried speaking with the store and customer service, a manager at customer service on July 18 told me that they would order the fabric. Let me know when it would be shipped to my home and then I was to call them to have their service man come out and make the repair on the chair. I have not heard anything from Hudson Customer Care since then and today is August 7. I feel they have totally dropped the ball on this. I have looked at this chair since 27 June looking at a chair that is covered up in my living room, that we cannot even use or sit in, very poor customer service probably will not purchase from Hudson again. I paid for my furniture order in May. This still has not been resolved, nor have I got one of the lamps that has been ordered since May.

I bought an 8 piece sectional. Paid over 6k for it. What I got is a hard uneven piece of pretty looking garbage that I cannot return. I’ve been living in my bedroom stuck with this very low quality junk. Whatever they filled it with is not what I selected at the store. The new story is that it’s broken in. Well, we’ve had this for two years and it doesn’t break in, not even with two grown men. They don’t stand behind their product. I was once a fan and now I can’t stand this place. Buyer beware.

1st time buyers at Hudson Furniture. Very nice store with unique upper quality. Sales and management are great to work with. Items in stock, not waiting weeks for delivery. Excellent extended warranty offer.

Very disappointed with the customer service and specifically the Furniture Care Protection plan they sell you when buying the furniture. Customer Service is awful and no one you talk at Hudson's Furniture or Furniture Care Protection can give you the appropriate person to talk to regarding the situation. Have been trying since January to get a problem with furniture (2yrs old) corrected. When I bought the plan, I was told the problem I am having with the cushions and filling were covered under the plan. Due to the unresolved problem my furniture is uncomfortable to sit in and showing manufacturing errors. Phone calls and emails go unanswered and the managers for Furniture Care Protection will not call me back and the people answering the phones will not give me the name and contact information of who I can talk to in management. Customer satisfaction in not a priority for Hudson's Furniture or the Furniture Care Protection Plan. If I could give no stars I would. Still hoping someone will call me to get this corrected as my last email as gone unanswered that was sent a week ago.

Chad Barber is very professional and took great care of us, and took his time explaining everything and not pushy at all! Paula exceeded every expectation we could have possibly had. Her knowledge of the store’s products enabled her to take us to the exact seating group we were looking for. Seriously - we looked at several options, but ended up purchasing the first one she took us to based on our description. Once we found the set we wanted, Paula reviewed all color & configuration options with us and we were extremely happy with our purchase. On a personal note, not only was Paula a pleasure to do business with, but she’s simply a delightful person all around!
