Wish it was possible to give 0 stars. Disgusting. This location has disappointed on several occasions, but today was the final straw. Loaded up 10 bags of sand, 8 bags of soil and several plants. Headed to the register in the garden center and attempted to use a 10% coupon given through the MyLowes App/member rewards program. The cashier could not figure out how to ring it up correctly and instead of asking for assistance from another team member, simply told me I had to use my Lowe's credit card to receive the discount. Fine, not a problem. However, the total rang up with only the 5% credit card discount. Clearly, they don't anticipate their customers being able to compute simple math. When I told her that the coupon did not register she simply told me I'd have to go to customer service to address the issue. Meanwhile, her team member in the garden center kept interrupting her attempts to assist me because she wanted to go on break. I take my 18 bags of soil and sand to customer service to be told I was attempting to "stack coupons" (10% MyLowes coupon + 5% credit card discount), despite being told by the garden associate that I had to use my credit card in order to use the 10% coupon. I was refunded the 10% coupon amount. Keith shrugged off my annoyance at the ordeal and having to lug 18 bags of soil to his "customer service"desk by saying, "You didn't have to bring it all the way here!". But yet didn't so much as offer to have anyone assist me with bringing it to nor loading my car. Thank you for such an experience. Will not be back.

First off, let me state that I have been a Lowes customer for over 36 years. Back in November, I bought a Craftsman’s tool set, on the Black Friday sale. When I tried to use the V20 saw that came with it, there was a problem. Four days later, I tried to return the complete set in the original box with the receipt, and was informed by Lowe’s return desk that I only had 48 hours to do so and was past my window. Moreover, I should have read the Return Policy on the wall before purchasing. I thought I was stuck with a non-working tool. A week later, I was in the store for something else and spoke with Brian Cornelius. I told him what happened. He called the assistant store manager and clarified that the Craftsman’s battery power tools were excluded from Lowe’s 48 hour return policy. Moreover, he verified that the Craftsman’s battery power tools had a 90 day return policy. Without Brian’s help, my return would never have happened. Thanks to his great customer service, I decided to upgrade my set and have since bought other Craftsman tools at the store. Brian restored my faith in Lowe’s.

Some years since my last review I went in to look at luxury vinyl flooring. The purchase will be somewhere between $8,000 and $10,000. I went to the aisle and there were 4 associates in the aisle. I walked back and forth looking at the tile display, passing them 3 or 4 times and they never spoke nor offered assistance. I was so exasperated that I left I could have interrupted their conversation to ask for help but since when does the customer have to ask to spend money. I went to HD and had much the same experience. Finally went to Floors & Decor and they were wonderful. Not only was I helped but overwhelmed with information. Guess who gets our money.
Update: Went into the store today to get light bulbs. Found what I needed and went to front to check out. Since there last the front end has been converted to self checkout with only one register for a cashier to check. Folks were lined up at that one so I joined them since I refuse to buy from them and do their work for them too. Cashier just walked away and yelled at front end person "these people think that register is open" to which we were told we would have to do self check. I found the assistant manager handed him the bulbs and as he looked surprised I told him that would have been my last purchase from Lowes. I explained why, received the corporate script from him and was informed that they were going to be totally self check in the entire store. Good luck with those 16 foot 2x10x16 pieces of lumber. I'm done with Lowes. I can go to Ace Hardware and never see self check and people actually want you in their store.
Service in this store is non-existent. I am 68 years old and only one out of 20 visits did anyone offer to help me load extremely heavy items at some visits. I actually help customers load when I see them struggling because I am embarrassed to walk by them.

This is a belated review but one that is needed!
A few weeks ago I went in to get a few supplies. I walked around to find an associate in my department but everyone was busy at work, understandable, so I moved over to the door section to see if I could find someone there. That is when I met Brian Buchheit. This man is AMAZING! He asked me for the list of what I was looking for, right after he peeked at my list I got an important phone call from my realtor so I was pacing talking on the phone and totally distracted. As I ended my call, here comes Brian with everything I needed! I’ve never had such an easy time at an home improvement store! He then took me to the front to check out my items AND helped me load them in my van (entertaining my 4 year old the whole time) which was jam packed with my personal belongings still from a lengthy trip I had just returned from the day before. As we were trying to load the supplies in my van, another customer stopped in the isle of the parking lot to ask if we needed more help cramming this stuff in my car. Before I could even answer, this hot shot behind the kind samaritan trying to help his fellow man out started LAYING on his horn. Seriously within two seconds of the guy stopping to ask. Of course being the person I am, asked Mr. Hot shot “why are you honking like that, this gentleman is just trying to help”. Mr. Hot shot had bigger things on his agenda that day apparently and was APPALLED at the man taking two seconds to offer help and was blocking the road. Mr. Hot shot then started getting really nasty, that’s when Brian had my back and just calmly told Mr. Hot shot “hey, you don’t talk to a lady like that.” Defending my honor! It’s been a troubling time in my life so that scenario made me break down in tears after. Brian was there to show me words of encouragement and give me a pep talk. He didn’t have to do any of this, he’s awesome! He is an asset to your company. This is the kind of service that keeps a customer coming back! Thank you Brian! Your kindness will be remembered for years!

The lack of information provided by this company about what is included and not included when purchasing appliances is stunning.
Also, they charge separately for delivery, install, and haul away. Went to Famous Tate and they charge one price for all three services, and that price is less than what Lowes charges just for install.

Great customer service! However, we asked three associates about the kids workshop and they didn't not have any information.
