I unfortunately do not understand how this place is still up and running. Shame on dcf for not having closed them down after high turnover and ownership that owes money to people they never paid. If you care to take the time and go to the myflchildren and families website they do not have perfect inspections, far from it, even allegations of abuse. This center used to be gold seal accredited until it changed ownership. Nor does the very young admin keeper know how to hire quality educators. Please don't be fooled by this place. I was once the assistant director after stepping up after the first round of staff walked out due to not being paid. I pray for the children at this center daily.

My 2 children have been attending this daycare now for almost a month. They are excited to get up and go to "school" everyday and are just as happy and excited when I pick them up in the afternoon. They have tons of stories each day about everything they did and how much fun they had. After reading past reviews I was a little nervous but decided to give it a chance because nothing online in regards to DCF reviews were negative. I'm very pleased with everything so far and excited for the future of Miss Adele's with the new management team. They are wonderful ?

I had two children attend here and it was the worst experience as a parent. When looking at the reviews, 6 appeared on Google all simultaneously praising the daycare. All on the same day. It was very suspect. The first week, there were so many red flags. I went to pick up my children and the director was screaming at 1, 2 and 3 year olds. When I went to pay for my first week, there was a lot of confusion. I was told I’d have a 15% discount because I was enrolling two children, and then it became 10%. Fine, whatever. However, the accountant couldn’t properly calculate how much I was supposed to pay. I had to show him.My oldest son was in so many classrooms that they kept losing his belongings. When I finally pulled them out, they still didn’t give me all of his clothing because they couldn’t find it. I’d shown up to get him and he was in someone else’s clothes. He also came home in someone else’s diaper.I was emailed while at work and was told I needed to come pick them up because they were short staffed. However, not every parent was emailed. Just certain ones. When I went to pick them up, DCF and the police were there.I was told after picking them up, I was told I’d receive an email that night letting parents know if kids could come the next day. I didn’t receive an email until the next morning, on our way out the door just to be told only infants and 1 year olds could attend. I ended up having to miss work and said, screw this, I’m finding them somewhere else to go.My kids started attending January 2 and I pulled them January 25. Worst experience ever. I strongly do not recommend.Edit to add: I had a meeting with the owner 5 days after this review was posted. I received my son’s belongings that were unable to be found at the time of my son’s withdrawal. The owner and I had a discussion about my experience and understood my frustration. While it has been frustrating on their end as well, I still did not feel the facility was best for my family, which the owner did, indeed, understand.

The new playground is simply beautiful and a lot bigger. The new furniture gives an awesome look to the center.

I like this daycare. I went to visit it and found a new garden. The staff answered all my questions. The teachers are friendly and helpful. The daycare is in a good area. They also offer the VPK program. I enrolled my 2 year old son and he likes it very much.

This place was amazing when my daughter started there at the age of 3. When the new owners took over it was fine for a little bit. Until they fired the director and all the teachers walked out recently due to not being paid. They never contacted me to come get my daughter, they called my husband who is unreachable when at work as he is a bus driver. When I finally found out I dropped everything and went to get my daughter who was in a dark classroom by herself with the chairs up like they were closed at 3:30 in the afternoon. The one teacher still there and the owners kids were all in the office. Would definitely not recommend this school under the ownership it is now.

This place was an excellent daycare for the past 4 years. Unfortunately, this is not the case anymore. New ownership took over around the middle of March and has not been the same since. The daycare has had to close 2 time since they took over because teachers just walked out from not being paid.y My child went there from the time he was an infant until just recently, we always had a feeling of being part of a "family " this feeling went away soon after the new owners took over. Be very cautious with this daycare, you might find out one day when dropping off your child that they are closed again. The owners are quick to blame their problems on the staff when they are the ones that need to look into into the mirror.

Unfortunately I had to pull my child out of this daycare...At first my child was very happy to go to "school" this quickly changed when the staff walked out with the director... Once the staffing change occurred everything went downhill...My child went from excited for school, to hysterically crying at the mention of school...When the staff walked out, we were expected to pick up our children middle of the day and we all lost a full week of child care cost for the week...AND had to find childcare last minute for the following weeks....Anyway, my child was pulled due to concerns and when I expressed anything to them they swept it under the rug and made it seem like they had a closer eye on my child.(Certain things were expressed, and immediately I was told they were not true)Once I picked up my baby who was sitting alone with her blanket staring out the window...Walked in one evening to pick up my child and a teacher was YELLING at the kids to either be quiet...Regardless I would not recommend sending your young children here.I think some of the employees are great and have the heart for it however as a whole it needs to be addressed and a change should be made at this facility.Look into their DCF reporting's and make your own decisions, as for me I am glad my child will no longer be spending their morning's crying because they were scared to be at Miss. Adele's learning center.

I will currently leave this review with some details but would advise Parent to review DCF reports before putting your child into this daycare. Unfortunately, new ownership has not kept Miss Adele's as a desired place. They had to close down with no notice numerous weeks and everyone had to pickup their kids in the middle of the day.Even though, they were unable to watch our son, they refused a full refund of what we prepaid for service and giving only a partial.

Would not recommend your children attending this daycare under its current ownership, Gallo’s is the last name since that information is public knowledge already. Recently bought out and has gone downhill very fast. Owners are merely investors looking for their biggest cash flow. I debated writing any post for the last week or two but after reading and seeing what has transpired SINCE my daughters last day of 3/16 I feel the “lets wait it out” period has long sailed now. I won’t be going into detail because if you search FB hard enough you’ll find plenty of detailed post on what has gone down I will simply leave it as this: it does not matter what great staff members were here or come back or whatever new great staff they end up bringing in the door - their hands are tied at the ownership level. If the owner is not genuine and not doing this for the right reasons everything will come crashing down hard and fast. A lot of people have made personal FB post and tagged MALC but none of that will show up on their reviews so I feel it is important to have left this warming for the people who will be getting calls because they’ve been on the waitlist for months or even years and since now over half the school has WILLINGLY unenrolled a lot of spots are open to be filled. I’m not saying this place is an absolute “NO GO” but I am advising you to be on your toes and to speak up when you feel something is off and this is not to be mistaken with the MALC legacy that has been around since my HUSBAND went there over 24 years ago. Very sad situation.
