After a horrible experience at winter haven location I was able to get an appt at the Lakeland S Florida office. I arrived early to make sure that everything went seamlessly. I was taken before my appointment time which is almost unheard of in any doctors office. Everything went very well and only thing took a bit was me picking out the glasses. I did have to pay more than I was anticipating but was just glad to be seen and use my insurance before it ended. Will be coming back for sure.

I had an appointment at 2:00 today and they told me they called me which is a lie because it would be on caller ID they say there's no doctor today but the funny thing is I got no phone calls so I took my day to get over to my appointment and therefore there's no doctor and all I got was a smug we tried to call you

This place has zero customer service. When I walked in “you can sit over there until Somone calls you” The person who helped me did not go over all the options for my glasses just wrote up the bill and asked for payment. When I returned to pick up my glasses Again I was to to go sit down The person who finally helped me had been walking around doing nothing then asked me if O was here to pick up she hands me a bag with my glasses and a cloth and told me they ate out of cleaner If I wanted some come back next week didn’t off to adjust them my glasses had cut all over them I put them on she asked me how they were I said I don’t see any difference from my old ones she said “ That’s good” was not happy when I left and it didn’t seem to bother them.

Bought new sunglasses a few months back and the price was ridiculous! Wore them a total of 6 times and one of the lenses fell out! Had Walmart fix them for me! Won’t go back to My Eye Dr again! My insurance told me to go there! Never again!!

The people their are the most rudest people I have ever delt with they only answer the phones when they feel it's the right time.. They will answer it and then hang up on you. And when you finally get someone on the phone after trying to call since after new years day they want to be rude to you and tell you they don't have no openings and to try another my eye doctor location. I wouldn't recommend my friends or my pets to go to this location on South Florida Ave

I scheduled an appointment for myself as well as two of my three boys. I had the appointment booked for several weeks and they called me three days before the appointment to confirm (which I already did from the texts I received) and informed me they needed to cancel one of my son's appointments because they will only see two family members at a time. So I told her to cancel mine. She could not provide me with the reasoning for this rule. In fact now my time is available for online booking. This rule makes it VERY difficult for families to make appointments and causes an unnecessary convenience.

Deirdre In the Eye Glasses Delivery Area helps me each and every year with my glasses adjustments ~ all the while being so very patient, professional and kind! She is the BEST and one of my favorites to have help me!Arial the Manager assisted me this year when the delivery of my glasses were running behind through no fault of her own…she was very thorough and professional. She continually followed up with me to keep me informed. She made the outcome a pleasant one. She is a true asset to the Company!!Tory and Katie help me and my Husband with our orders and have been great to work with! The both do an absolutely amazing job!We are definitely a My Eye Dr. Family and have been for many years!?????

I had a great experience today and for the first time the customer service was amazing. I was greeted when I came in, and all the staff were really friendly. I wanted to thank Ivania for going above and beyond and making sure my contacts came on time and processing everything correctly with my insurance. I am grateful to have connected with an employee who was well versed in her role and truly cared for me as a patient. Ivania was wonderful and she made my day by taking great care of me. Excellence should be celebrated and rewarded!

I have been seeing Dr. Parrish for years. The service and wait times were awesome. Never behind and if so, not much. Now, this corporate entity called MyEyeDr is just that. A corporate entity. I could never get an appointment with Dr. Parrish that was convenient. My appointment was at 3:00 and here I still sit at 4:20. Absolutely no reason for it and my time is valuable. The whole experience is like herding cattle to be slaughtered. Wait. Move to the next area. Get something done. Wait. Move to next area. Wait. I have never sat in a room waiting for Dr. Parrish like I am sitting in a waiting room right now waiting to see this doctor. I just heard an employee outside of my room say, we have another patient waiting.I watched another customer needing to go back to work. No one seems to be in a hurry to close customers out, see patients.

I would never recommend this business. I had to see the doctor again because the prescription of my glasses the first time was not correct. We did A re-order per the doctor there. We spoke to a woman that same day and she informed both my husband and I that since it was a re-order it would be a rush and would take 7-10 days. I called today to check in and the first girl who I believe didn’t say her name had a negative attitude and proceeded to tell me that the glasses were just ordered 3 days ago. I said no, I told her I did not believe that was the date and asked her to please see the last time I saw the doctor. She said the 5th of October, I said well that was the day we placed the re-order. She said no, the order was just put in the 13th, then I asked why it took more than a week to place the order when we were told that day (10/5/2023) “ivana” would take care of them? She rudely placed me on hold. So then “Ivana” took over the call and had such an even worse attitude. She was very condescending and I asked her why the attitude toward me? I’m just calling to see when my glasses would be in, she told me they would be in tomorrow and was about to dismiss me. I then said I was confused why the girl previous to her on the phone told me that the order was just placed 3 days ago, and if they knew for sure they would be in tomorrow. Again with a dismissive attitude she said ,tomorrow. No apology for confusion or anything. Just an attitude that was not needed.I then asked to speak to the manager. I then spoke to “Katie” I explained to her that I understood orders take a while, and that wasn’t the issue, the issue was that she had two employees who just treated me poorly. She said she understood and she would be speaking to “Ivana” and she would figure out the other girls name.I told her I’m sure Ivana wouldKnow .I asked about a refund because at this point I don’t even want to go back to that establishment. I mean who would want to go back to an abusive place? She had to call her district manager to inquire of a refund. She called back and told me she wouldn’t be able to give me the full refund because the lenses are custom made. My husband was seen there as well and between the both of us we had spent quite a bit of money. I have no choice but to go there tomorrow to pick up my glasses because they won’t give me a full refund. I really don’t want to go there after two of their staff were abusive. What these three ladies don’t know is that they were on speaker phone for all of the conversations and my husband heard all of it. It’s not right to treat another human like that. I’m a doctor in a different field and if I had ever caught my staff treating a client like that, I would be removing them from my staff permanently. These people are in a medical field. We go there for help, not attitude. People that go there have problems. It’s not fun for us either. We have to spend money that we don’t have now a days, and then to be treated like garbage, is absurd.If you can not interact with people, then do no work with people…. Especially in a medical setting. I don’t need that type of treatment, nor do other people. I NEVER write reviews, but this one hit home. I told the manager “Katie” that I would be telling and everyone and anyone I knew not to ever to go there.I do have my doubts that this situation will be taken seriously, and that most likely it’ll just be a slap on the wrist… not even an apology will happen. A very toxic situation. I wish I had NEVER taken my friends recommendation to be seen here. Stay clear of them, go somewhere else.

I was at my eye doctor last week this very special young lady named Codi Waited on me she informed me of some things I had no idea about in my insurance. I was able to get some glasses that I really loved for a long time. She was so helpful understanding and consider it. She made sure that I ended up with what I wanted. And made me understand that all you have to do is appreciate her so much. I guess I give her a twelve out of ten she is really that amazing.
