Initial delivery and pickup was great. Contents were just as I packed them. They canceled my delivery day before scheduled and 3-4 days ahead of Hurricane Milton, when I would have had it delivered and returned before the storm ever hit. I had scheduled to only have it 2 days, but even offered to empty it and have it returned in 1 day, I waited 2 weeks for my POD, which was 45 minutes away, in an area very lightly impacted by the storm. We had power restored the next morning. The delivery driver was rude, and gouged my new coated driveway. I called to report it and guess when they called me back? Never. I am filing a dispute with the credit card I used. Also, they outsource their phone center and it’s impossible to speak to someone without a heavy accent making it difficult for me to understand them, but the telephone center is very nice. Unfortunately they have ZERO control over anything and cannot help with anything.

Delivery prices as well as their drop-off/pickup prices keeps increasing dramatically.

Horrible customer service. Rude drivers, Refuse to do their job correctly. I spoke to a woman named Danielle from "corporate" she was also very rude and uncooperative.

Overall, I had a great experience. I moved from MA to FL. From the first phone call to the driver, everyone was very friendly. I also did not pay more than what I was quoted. They were very prompt with the delivery window and kept in good communication. My only suggestion would be the condition of the container. The one I received seemed to be a bit older and run down. However, my belongings arrived safely and dry. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them.

Pods service was horrible. They took 3 weeks after the expected delivery date to drop it off. Then they took 44 days to pick up the pod. They causes 3 weeks of delays costing me thousands of dollars and when I complained 3 times a manger never called me back. Don't ever use this comoany the commercials lied

I am very upset with the service that has been provided from PODS. Our service started July 6th fast forward to today April 17th and we are sleeping on air mattresses... Let me take you guys to the beginning, we needed to move from Bensenville, IL (outside Chicago). We didn't know where we would be yet because my husband works for the railroad and we were making changes so we figured, "Let's get PODS because they advertised they can move you anywhere." We looked up the places we may end up to make sure they would be able to get our things to us and they could. Shouldn't be any problems rights? We let them know we would need to store until we find a place, they said no problem when you get a home give us a call we'll get you scheduled to get your stuff. Fast forward to October, my husband got moved to Florida, the Tampa area. We called to see if we could have our things shipped to Tampa to the storage area here so once we found a place it would already be in town. They said they could not do that they can only move it once we have a home address. My husband asked again what's the process once we give you an address. They said we'll give you a date and get your PODS to you. Fast forward again to March, we find a place. We called to let them now we need our things because we have a home. We were told it could take up to 2 weeks to get a ship date because they have to wait until they have something coming this way. We were never told that before but okay. I guess we gotta tough it out for 2 weeks. Today is April 17th. It's been almost a month and my family is still sleeping on air mattresses and sitting in lawn chairs. We still have no date and everytime we call, they tell us someone will call us back... I will NEVER EVER EVER use PODS again and I will make sure no body I know will either. My household contains a Railroad GM, a high school athlete, a middle school dancer, a 2 yr old, and I'm a dental assistant, it is extremely uncomfortable to be sleeping on air mattresses this long with no end in sight. We have been patient and trying to understand but enough is enough.

Warning to all in the area of this POD company.I try to give as much grace where I can, but this facility has provided TERRIBLE customer service for us today!! They dropped a POD on Tuesday while we were not there, and picked it up on Wednesday. *ALL GOOD* Then today they were dropping the second POD and called to say we won't drop it because no one is here to sign the waiver. NO one told us we had to be there, and just two days prior they dropped a POD with no waiver being signed. NO one ever told us we had to be there during any of our conversations. Now they won't return for nearly a week, and we've spent money in other areas to prepare for this move, but the biggest frustration is that there is no direct contact number to work with this Lakeland warehouse. If you can't speak with anyone locally that is a major problem! We had the ability to be at the property within 15 minutes of the call from when the driver shared he would need a signature to drop the POD. Instead, he leaves and takes our POD back to their yard, and from there, we can't get ahold of anyone to discuss that we have movers showing up to empty the POD. So frustrated!!

I contracted with PODS to move out of state. My POD was supposed to be delivered to my new home on a specified day in March. I received a call saying my POD was delayed and they wouldn’t or couldn’t tell me where it was. They did not know when it would be arriving. I had nothing. Minimal clothes, no bed, kitchen supplies, food, bath supplies, etc. I had to change the date that the movers were coming, but that was hard to do because I didn’t know when the POD would arrive. My friend that made the 2-day drive with me had to change her return plane ticket. I had pets with me so not easy to find a hotel. We slept on the floor. VERY uncomfortable at 59 and 61 years old.I spoke to a POD representative and was told to save my receipts for the things I would need and I would be reimbursed. That was 4 months ago. I have been trying to get reimbursed ever since. I not only sent my receipts once, but twice at PODS’ request. I was not told what happened to the receipts the first time. I was told my expenses would be covered. Now I cannot get anyone to call me or email. I have not been reimbursed.I am very disappointed in the service I received from PODS and will tell anyone who asks that I would not recommend them!

I have had pretty bad experience with Pods so far. I have waited on hold when calling for a total of at least 6 hours. Today I was on hold for 1hr and 49min (photo attached!!) and actually still never got anyone. I actually don't know where my pod is located. It took multiple calls up front to set up delivery to my new town and it says it may have been delivered there but then has a message to call to schedule delivery to my new location! So I have paid over $4000 and my stuff is in a container somewhere that I have no idea and no access to, despite them saying it would go to my new location in 7-10d and I could make appointments to access my stuff. The pod left my prior location 3 weeks ago. They have to fix their phone system! It is unfair to be in the possession of people's entire belongings and not answer the phone or have any way to speak to anyone (online chat never has anyone available).I never write reviews but my experience has been so bad I had to take the time to write this one to warn people!

I ordered 16ft container in August or beginning of September. Two hurricanes hit October 2022 and due to that pods was charging me triple the amount because they were out of storage space. I was supposed to have my storage dropped off in the back of my home or the garage and because of the water they said they were not delivering any containers for a while. That was fine by me but why am I being charged three times the price because of that that is a natural disaster FEMA was even in the state of Florida. After a while they were charging me almost $800 a month which was ridiculous because it went from $200 to $800. Then they set my things to auction making me have to pay thousands of dollars to get my things. These people are thieves. Their drivers are unprofessional... The driver that was delivering my container said he was going to be right back because the truck was behind him and drove off and never came back next you know I can't get my things. Go somewhere else don't use them. It's ZERO STARS FOR ME.

I had a Great experience with PODS! All the delivery drivers were on time and super helpful and friendly. The Pod was in great condition and everything made it across the country in one piece! Costumer service was easy to talk to and they were able to work with me when I had some date changes. I would highly recommend shipping with Pods and would do it again.

I had pods delivered on July 26 it was supposed to be picked up Aug 16 but they never scheduled it, again was supposed to be picked up Aug 23 but was not. I ended up having to pay an extra month because of this. Finally was picked up Sept 1 over two weeks after I moved out of the house. I contacted customer service and spoke with a manager, she said she would open an investigation to see what went wrong and would call back never heard from her again. Over the last month I've tried to resolve this issue but no one calls back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
