Wouldn’t shop here again, I had to return some items because they didn’t fit and the rude cashier gave me an attitude like I wore the items and returned them thinking I was lying. Will be contacting corporate.

The issue I have with Ross is not their selection of products because they have allot of nice things to choose from and it's not the condition of the store itself b cause it's always work maintained and organized. But I have yet to actually check out with anything at ANY Ross Store because you go in and find allot of nice things but when you go to check out there is exactly ONE cashier for 75 people in a line and sometimes that line wraps around the store yet despite there being workers there is still exactly one cashier so I never make it out of the store with anything because I don't care if the stuff is free I am not going to stand in line for 30 to 45 minutes for anything or anyone because I do not have that kind of time to waste. So my recommendation for Ross is HIRE MORE Checkers.

I was in the Ross store at south Lakeland on Friday January 10, 2025 and the Manager came to me at 10:49 pm and rushed me to be out of the store. She said that at 11:00 o’clock the registers were going to be closed and I would not be able to pay for my purchase. I was not disrespectful or rude back to her. She started talking about me and the situation with the others employees. I think this shows a lack of respect for customers and she is not qualified to manage a store or work with the public. I have visited this store for 20 years and have never had a situation like this happen. I left the store at 10:54 pm without buying the merchandise. I think that the Ross Stores should be more careful when employing it’s

Terrible Customer Service
I went shopping with my family, intending to purchase a bag, but all the bags were securely locked to the shelves, making it impossible to take them down. We went to the front desk for assistance, but the staff completely ignored us and didn’t even acknowledge our request. This is extremely unprofessional, and I couldn’t help but wonder if their behavior was influenced by our race or gender. I will never recommend this store to anyone in the future.

The store was fine but the employees have the worst attitude. Even the girl from the dressing room told me that if i wasnt gonna buy something then that i should put the things where i found them???!!!? AS IF I WORK THERE OR WHAT? the cashier also bad attitude honestly it makes you dont wanna buy anything from that store.

Store was fine. Everything else was fine. And I’m not usually one to complain to this length, especially about an employee. HOWEVER, the cashier we seem to have every time we come here. She rushes when there is no line (literally nobody behind us in line). We were trying to look at the snacks where the line usually forms and she said multiple times “I can take you right here!” So after her saying it so many times I finally went up and then she rushed me through the purchase process. Then my mother was checking out and still trying to pay and the cashier is dangling her bag over the counter for my mom to grab it (she’s still paying) and since my mom wouldn’t stop what she was doing to grab the bag, she directed the bag towards me! I normally would grab it but felt the need to tell her it wasn’t mine to grab for her to just be impatiently handing it to me. Then right after we check out and start to head to the door, she cuts me and my cart off while looking me dead in the face. She should not be working the cash register if she has to people skills. So rude and off putting. And the rushing thing has happened multiple times with the same lady. I believe her name was Sara.

This Ross location is the worst. The employees are super rude they don’t even try to be friendly and the vast majority of them speak very little English. Wanted to try on something the employee didn’t even say anything but mins later the intercom went off saying they are closing the fitting rooms so a majority of the lights shut off so had to move to a different room that still had some light. So rude when they knew someone was in the fitting room and did that. Plus they keep saying on the intercom when they close which was totally wrong time cause it’s still 12 mins before the closing time they said they close. Honestly try to avoid this Ross location and they do have long lines cause they only want one employee checking ppl out so ridiculous.

The prices and selection are pretty good, but the cashier that we had this weekend was very rude. She made it seem that we were inconveniencing her by buying things there.

Lady at register was extremely rude and rushed everyone. I was 3rd in line she stready pulling next customer before the one she just took care of got their items and reciept which she refused to give to you.
