I recently built a new home in Lakeland, and the USPS refuses to deliver mail until the community becomes 10% occupied. This is utterly ridiculous, I work in real estate and never heard of such a thing. Phase 1 of the community is directly across the street so it’s not like you have to go out of your way to deliver. As a homeowner and tax payer, I’m extremely disappointed in how the USPS is handling this. I’ll be seeking legal counsel if this issue isn’t resolved soon.

Terrible service. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to the Mulberry USPS.

I visit this USPS location every Saturday, and unfortunately, there’s always only one employee working the front counter. The lines are extremely long, and the wait times are frustrating for everyone. It is clear that the staff member is overwhelmed trying to handle the volume of customers alone.
It is unacceptable for a facility with regular weekend traffic to be so understaffed. USPS needs to allocate additional personnel ASAP to better support both customers and staff!!!

6-28-25 the staff most likely didn't what they were supposed to do, but they were rude and extremely short and non communicative the entire time. Almost as if they expected that you knew everything.

Absolutely terrible. This place manages to lose multiple packages every week. They’ll be scanned in and then never seen again. Take the extra few minutes to drive to mulberry where they treat your items with care.

Waiting for important mail that was in my informed delivery Notice for saturday i'm guessing the incompetent mail delivery person couldn't get it right. I didn't deliver any of my mail! Get it together

I have not had any issues with this location. Staff have always been helpful, kind, and courteous to me. This location is one of the best I've been to in 17 years living here.

How is it every time I come in here the line is to the end of the counter and there is only ever 1 person working the counter. I'm sorry but as much as we pay for postage there should be more people during the busy times and someone available when it gets busy.

Mail with checks, cash, coupons are rarely delivered & received by me. On Friday there were 3 pieces of mailed scheduled for delivery & only 1 delivered. Of course, one of the missing mail was coupons. I reported missing/undelivered mail with no response. Have called & no one answers. Worst post office I’ve dealt with!

I was in line at 12:40pm. They only had 1 employee working while 3 others were just walking around. The line was about 20 people deep and people were allowed to step out of line to correct their packaging mistakes, and then cut back in line to the front.
I waited 20 minutes to get a receipt, just to be told I would have to pay to get one.
This location sucks.

A very important package from my in-laws has been lost. It shows delivered but it wasn't delivered here. Thank you for the ineptitude that has lost irreplaceable gifts.
