Haggerty and Watson Clinic:“Do no harm” is what we all hear as the first priority of medical care. Well, Haggerty is not your doctor if you want to choose a doctor that will do no harm. This lady diagnosed my 80 year old father with something that was not only absurd, but egregiously detrimental to not only him, but our entire immediate family. Due to the personal sensitivity of the issue, I am being vague about the details. Her assessment lacked any evidence or common sense other than an erroneous false positive test that, it turns out, is a very well-known issue in the medical field. Apparently, everyone but Haggerty is aware that recent immunizations can cause false positives on a plethora of blood tests. It took me all of about 5 minutes to obtain this knowledge online. Yet somehow a “trained” doctor was oblivious to this information in her poor assessment. She had the opportunity to assess the situation, apply some logic, common sense and sound judgment and she FAILED MISERABLY. After running my father through the “treatment” for his false positive (as if it was real), she was presented with documented evidence of her error from an FDA authored bulletin issued to health care providers that she was somehow unaware of (yet I could find on the FDA website myself). This data showed her assessment and treatment was 100% in error and the FDA documentation makes this undeniable and un-refutable. Yet, when confronted in person at an office visit, there was no empathy, apology, remorse or admission of wrong doing. It is this attitude and arrogance that has much of the American public in dis-trust of the medical establishment. YOU FAILED as a doctor, period. I can tell you that if I owned a pet snake, I would not take a mouse I planned to feed to the snake to this lady for care. The Watson Clinic reviews also speak for themselves. I feel for anyone that is “cared for” and evaluated with the judgement this woman has and uses. Also, my father shares every detail of his story with every single medical professional he encounters and makes sure to let them know who provided him with this “care”. So, next time you find yourself in a group of peers you can wonder how many of them know about your egregious, reckless approach to “practicing medicine”.

My primary care Dr sent a referral to Watson Clinic for a neurologist I get a call from a scheduler right away she says she has to transfer me to the business department I'm confused at this point. The lady gets on the phone and says I have a bill from 2007 for 47$ I'm confused because I've never been to Watson Clinic before. She tells me it from a chest x-ray I had in the hospital I owe the money because it was there radiologist who was working that day. Now how do i owe you guys when clearly I was in the hospital. This is the wildest thing I've heard so far in 2024. Guy's please choose a different clinic to go to because money is all they care about it's not your health.

"Clinc" you're better off going to the heath department! I live in lakeland and go to TGH.If it's something simple I'd trust them for treatment. But please please DON'T GO TO THEM FOR SERIOUS TREATMENT!

Do not go to their URGENT CARE, they aren't an actual Urgent Care. They aren't licensed to bill as an urgent care, despite the name, the signs, and even the reception who takes your payment or co-pay as an Urgent Care; this is not what you will be billed for. They bill you as a Specialist Office Visit. This is not the first problem I've had with Watson booking for appointments incorrectly and billing after the fact. I won't be continuing care absolute worst accountability ever.

none of the staff are able to give you a price quote over the phone for endocrine appointments. they either transfer to different apartments, tell u to call insurance, or hang up on u when u ask to speak to your doctor to hear what they would code the visitunbelievably stupid operation

Check in was pleasant and helpful. Triage nurse very nice and progressional. MD was good and spent limited time with me. Nurse came in, gave me my injection then told me to home. Asked what medication did he give me and he said a steroid. Then asked what was then name and was told Decadron. Asked what names of meds the MD was ordering for me and was told they were still being sent to Walgreens. I will find out when I get to Walgreens- I inquired more and he told me an antibiotic, steroid , cough suppressant and antihistamine. Never gave me the names of medications . I am a RN. Told me I could leave now. Never got a printout of my visit, never asked my PCP name. Is this typical in Florida? I am visiting from NC and was not use to not getting an After Visit Summary.

I am appalled, as a healthcare professional, at the lack of treatment and care that was shown to my significant other at the Watson Clinic Urgent Care today. My whole family, including my SO, are active patients and use Watson Clinic for everything, and typically, we have received excellent service. However, in a moment when he needed urgent treatment due to some head pain and neurological symptoms, my SO was refused due to an insurance issue that could have been been easily resolved on the back end. He also offered to just pay out of pocket so that he could be seen. Instead, he was turned away by Watson Clinic Urgent Care staff and the administrators on duty. The care he received is in violation of the Patient Bill of Rights (posted right on their site and following Florida statute), namely that all patients have the right to the following two things:Receive medical treatment or accommodations, regardless of race, national origin, religion, handicap or source of payment.Receive treatment for any emergency medical condition that will deteriorate from failure to provide treatment.Due to a vehicle issue, he instead had to walk a half a mile in the heat with his symptoms to the LRH emergency department to be assessed and receive treatment. These types of situations are exactly why the public doesn't always trust the healthcare profession to have their best interest in mind. Watson Clinic should be ashamed of themselves for this situation.

Amazing all in one compassionate care , by all . Thank you to Dr Anid Orbezo and Lisa RN who took the time to listen and explain everything . I'm not sure why I see some negative reviews , as we were greeted with smiles and treated with professionalism and concern by all . I would definitely recommend this clinic !

Initially, my frustration was directed towards the unprofessional conduct of the doctor. Instead of resolving my concerns, the doctor recommended surgery as the only solution. It appeared to me that the doctor was uninterested in finding a better alternative, which I considered to be a lazy approach.

When I scheduled the appointment they did not say a word about needing an xray because I had an MRI of my knee. When I got there they refused to see me without having an xray, so I had to use their xray office or reschedule my appointment. So I'm out more money because of this inconvenience. Totally ridiculous! ?

Watson Clinic sent my step son for a nose swab at outpatient clinic on 540A after we had been in urgent care all night with all exams and test were negative. The doctor encouraged us to come back for a nose swab the next day. We registered as an outpatient and within 5 minutes we were out of the clinic. Then I recieved a bill for 700 dollars and come to find out the cost of the swab was 1200 dollars. It's incredible that no one at Watson clinic knew the price of this test and the other incredible thing is they thought I would pay for such an incredible expensive exam. Watson clinic is not an advocate for patients right when it comes to paying for this exam. They should notify patients when tests are this high of a cost. No more WC for me!!!!After the response was given below. I filled a grievance with the pt advocate and a board reviewed my complaint and said that I owed 700 dollars. Sorry Watson Clinic this would have been a good chance to get a 5 star review from me but just like the day I brought my step son for a 1200 nose swab no one imformed me or called me and got my side of the story. Thanks but no thanks.

Glad I came here to read the reviews. I have tried to get into Watson Clinic for specialty care, its impossible to get through to speak with someone and when you do its a call center. And then trying to get an appointment feels like you're trying to break into Fort Knox. You can't get anywhere. After reading the reviews here, probably a good thing that I have not succeeded in landing an appointment. Too much hassle when you're trying to get needed help to improve your help. The stress dealing with this outfit can't be good for my health.
