Not the best. Drinks are very pricy. As is the food. We had the lamb chops and stuffed chicken. Chops weren't that great and chicken looked and tasted like it came from the frozen section of publix. Shining star is the tuna nachos. They were excellent. Service was good.

There are few places that go out of their way to make their patrons feels special and the Grove is one of them. The Grove is a perfect 10 on all aspects. Food, safety, service. There isn’t a better restaurant in SRQ or LWR. Incredible. Hands down.

The ambience is nice sitting outside. It was busy inside and out... The bar area seats were all filled. People were packed like sardines....if social distancing is your thing I dont recommend the bar area. The wait staff friendly. Apologized repeatedly for kitchen being backed up. Food was ok..... I wouldnt order the stuffed chicken again. Prices average.

Fantastic! Reservations recommended. Our waiter Jake was great, knowledgeable, and attentive. The children's menus was perfect. Our 9 year old had california rolls. And our 6 year ordered the children's steak. They have a large selection of gluten free and keto options and offer to substitute anything they make to truly make it yours. We look forward to coming back.

Very cool atmosphere and a great value during happy hour. We ordered 5 apps and an amazing bottle of wine for under $70! Steven our waiter was superb and well worth the visit! This was our first time trying it and we WILL go back!

Came and had diner tonight to treat my husband to a nice dinner after being sick but his pork dinner was awful. We shared it to the server and all she said was ok.. ok. All he eat was the mash potatoes and broccoli. ( great dinner... not). We were there with a party of 6 and 1/2 was good and others were ok. Nothing impressive. ?

I'm writing this, not because the absolute psycho next at the bar next to me who was trying to rip off the business with free wine threatened to write a negative review, but because I genuinely love the Grove and my experience every time I come here. The bartenders are so sweet, kind and friendly. I saw during this episode that the manager clearly cares about the business but more so his team. The food is always crave worthy. I usually split the ahi tuna nachos and fish tacos with whoever I come with. There is Vino & Vinyasa every Wednesday and Yoga & Mimosas followed by brunch every Sunday. I mean, sold. This place has become my go-to since I moved to Florida. And if a review that involves not getting free glasses of wine after purchasing a take-home bottle comes after this, disregard it entirely- the lady was nuts. I promise you, I was sitting right next to the ridiculous scene. And on top of that, the manager offered to buy me a drink. So sweet. Love this place. 10/10

Excellent fine dining in the heart of Lakewood Ranch. Love eating on the relaxed covered patio. Everyone follows CDC safety guidelines, tables are well spaced, and the place is immaculate. My spouse had crab cakes and I had the wasabi tuna for lunch Tuesday and both entrees were perfectly prepared. I was allowed one small bite of the crab cake and it was sublime; I gave up none of the tuna. Coming from the DC area, we tend to be very suspect of crab cakes elsewhere, but these were simply outstanding. The wasabi tuna was also exceptionally fresh and the light wasabi crust was delicious. Our only recommendation is to ditch the cheesy grits side with the crab cakes. The dish was never more than a novelty, starch with yellow fat, and is way passée. Try any variation with sweet potato; you get excellent nutritional value, a rich flavor boost, and it will pair perfectly with the simple, sweet taste of the crab cake. I also recommend the Giesen Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp and full of flavor. Finally, the service was excellent -- attentive, polite, well-informed, and helpful. Can't ask for more. But we did, and loved every bite of the crème brûlée that we shared.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Lots of choices on the menu. Enjoyed the Thai beef dinner. DH had the Grouper that looked very good. Great wine selection. Service was very good. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. The carrot cake is amazing!

Since this place came in it has been one of my favorites on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Great for a quiet night for two or a big family gathering. They can accommodate anything. The food and drinks are fantastic. Definitely worth stopping in

I was looking forward to having a meal there. Arrived and was seated in the patio area. Not very crowded at all. No service even though they walked past us a few times. I went to the hostess and still no service. Left after 15 to 20 minutes.

We have enjoyed dinner here before so we figured we would try their brunch; big mistake. Firstly we went to the hostess stand and she seated us and was friendly unfortunately that is where the good service ended. A couple bypassed the hostess stand and sat themselves outside shortly after we were sat. Our waitress completely bypassed is with menus; no good morning, no I'll be right with you nothing and waited on the couple who sat themselves, again bypassed us to enter/ get their drink order and delivered before ever acknowledging us. I asked if the grits in the shrimp and grits plate were Charleston grits and she said she was not sure. Once delivered she stated they were Quaker. The texture and taste was similar to instant cheesy grits...although the shrimp is plentiful so I suppose that supports the price tag. The flavors were just meh in both our meals and obviously I thought the service was lacking... I don't recommend as there are many other spots with great food and A+ service.

Great restaurant - menu choices range from seafood to salads to Flatbreads with variety of drinks. Best we've seen for social distancing and all servers wore masks. Guests need masks till seated at a table. Prompt service and awesome food!

Came here for Saturday brunch and ordered the vegetable omelette. It was huge and was very filling for $12! It came with a side of fried potatoes which were very crispy! There's ample inside and outside seating. I didn't get the bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary or sangrias but it was only $15 and you can mix and match! Waiter was nice and kept asking us if we need anything else.

Came here for Saturday brunch. Main issue is the underwhelming seasoning and salting of all food items. Requests for shakers yielded empty containers given to us. The atmosphere is comfortable. Nice patio. Service was prompt. Bathrooms clean. I’d come for the bar, I just wouldn’t eat here

The only reason why I didn't give this place 1 star is because of our sever ted. He was GREAT. Very attentive. We went for the first time here finally for brunch. The food was not good. My breakfast burrito was very average. My husbands biscuits and gravy had barely any sausages on it. For the amount they charge for the food you would expect more than "average" food. The drinks though, were decent. We might give it a second chance for dinner and see if it's any different. But, I don't think we will be back for brunch anytime soon.

It was hard to choose from this extensive menu. Everything sounded wonderful. We ended up with fish tacos and grouper dip for appetizers and a Groupen (grouper Reuben) and a grouper sandwich. Way too much to eat but so glad we tried them all. There was a huge piece of grouper on each of the sandwiches. The Happy Hour specialty drinks looked good too.

Food was not what its cracked up to be. I ordered a 430 pick up on 7/4/2020 at 130 well it was 5 before we had our food. The calamari was no good out of 5 people no one liked it. The large shrimp salad for 19 bucks contained 4 pieces of shrimp rip off. The 2 grouper sandwichs were more breading then anything else and the coleslaw came in a small jello shot style container so 2 bites worth. The hamburger was good fries to. They should be called the Burger Grove because that's all they can get right. The pork chop zero flavor on and on. They were not busy at all. Never again wasted 150.00

Went during happy hour. Several good looking appetizers. Had the ahi nachos. Very good but could have a few more pieces of tuna. Good beer and drink selection. Large patio area allows for plenty of distance between tables. Hand sanitizer stations placed around the patio. All of the wait staff wore masks. Will definitely be back.

We have used The Grove LWR market to buy groceries and also we have used The Grove LWR delivery for take-out meals and WE LOVE THE GROVE. We had ‘Fish n chips‘ tonight (packed by Jenny - THANK YOU). Yummy. Also - cheesecake! ???
