“Aldi is not perfect, but it is among my favorite places to shop. Although the selection is less, the value for the money is better than most larger supermarkets. What I appreciate the most about it is the friendly staff, and their positive attitudes and willingness to help when asked. I have found breads with less ingredients and more flavor. Healthier, less processed food options are important to me. Of course you have to read labels, just like anywhere else! I usually start my shopping at Aldis and if I can't find everything I need I go on to other stores. I appreciate the good value, and the positive shopping experience.”

“This store is one of the best Publix I have ever experienced. But a manager named Sarah completely lacks the social skills and respect for the Publix Organization. Almost all of the associates properly greet customers. But this manager is a failure at reflecting the Publix policy of acknowledging and greeting customers. She is not qualified nor does she has personal skills required to manage coworkers if she fails to perform the basic duty of making shopping at Publix an enjoyable experience. “Always find all items fresh! From the produce: fruits and vegetables, too great deli meats, cheeses and hot food with a salad and soup bar. Love the fresh bakery breads and desserts. Great meat and seafood selection and courteous, respectful, helpful staff. I seriously never find anything wrong with their food or service! They deserve 10 stars.”

“I was shopping earlier today (12/15/2025) and had no many other than my card that was not working for all of my items.
The manager was called over to assist.
The manager, Matt, took the time to rescan all of my items, helping me discover what the issue was with my card so that I could purchase my food. I was embarrassed, but Matt made sure that I felt that I really mattered. Great customer service!”
“This is by far the best ran Publix in the Parrish area. The two on Moccasin Wallow can’t compete with this one despite being much newer stores.
This is a larger size store that’s clean and well stocked. Great staff and managers.”

“Easy and usually quick shopping here, with many prices even lower than Walmart, including produce. Some items that I consistently come here for are maple bacon, Gen. Tso Sauce, flavored creamers, cold cuts & cheese, raw meats, mostly because of great prices and selection variety. They also have a couple+ isles of housewares; example: picked up a nice pack of large garden stakes. One more item: I get all my stock large paper bags here @ 12cents each, used for my home recycling items, as do many other shoppers.”

“There are certain items that we like to get here. You can move about the store fairly quickly and it appears clean. The store is usually very crowded. Speaking of crowded, this location is in a shopping center that is growing constantly and getting in and out of this shopping center has become increasingly more difficult. The particular area this Aldi occupies is very congested. The parking is difficult, especially close to the store. You will have better luck parking towards the back. Get those steps in!”
“Wonderful pharmacy! Robert, the pharmacist, is very attentive, treats me as an individual rather than a number (contrary to CVS & other pharmacies), and always makes sure everything is right. Bernadette is lovely and always leaves me feeling like I'm in great hands!”

“I actually went there hungry. Ended purchasing a large sub, easily fed me and my girlfriend generously, and it was something I would order again many times. It was their signature chicken tender grinder/sub with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayonnaise. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the multigrain bread was awesome. I highly recommend for under $15 feeds two people.”

“* LONG REVIEW* PLEASE READ!
My wife and I went to this location yesterday as we had a custom preordered birthday cake to pick up. Upon arrival at the bakery, we realized that the cake they had given us was not the correct cake. Not a huge deal, but it’s our daughter’s 3rd birthday and we really wanted it to be perfect for her! So, the bakery associate called over the manager whose name is Josh. Josh immediately greeted us with a friendly approach and told us he would make everything right.
He proceeded to ask us exactly what the cake was supposed to be and my wife showed him the picture that she had originally showed the bakery before ordering the cake. Josh realized the differences and he immediately took the price tag off of the cake and said kindly, “Here, you may have this cake for FREE since we messed up the order”.
We thought to ourselves, awesome! However, Josh was not done there. Next, he stated that the bakery manager, Veronica would be in to close the bakery this evening and that she could quickly prepare our original cake for us as well, also for FREE!!
It STILL doesn’t end there… Josh and Veronica then put together a plan to hand deliver the new cake to our home!!! Talk about exceptional customer service! This type of service is the type you would expect in a 5 star high end resort or restaurant.
We were completely blown away by how well Josh (the Publix manager) and Veronica (the bakery manager) handled this specific situation. They completely went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that we were able to give our daughter the best birthday cake she could have ever imagined!
This experience will truly stick with me forever as I am also in the hospitality and service industry. This is EXACTLY the way a situation should be shown to new workers in training because of how perfect it was handled!!!
PUBLIX CORPORATE- Please, take notice to this very specific situation and make sure Josh and Veronica receive the proper attention they deserve for doing the absolute best they could do!!!

“This store is so incredible. I was looking for items in the store as this is not my normal Publix that I go to. So I was a bit lost as to where things are in the store and I ended up seeing the customer service manager, Shane, he was so polite, and he made me feel like I was the only customer in the store and gave me directions to find a couple things in the store that I needed
I am so glad that I bumped into him. I had just came from the ER after a fall that I had and Shane was very empathetic towards me and stated that he could help me to find whatever I needed. It is people like that that make your Publix shopping experience stress-free and enjoyable. I will be telling my friends about my experience and I look forward to shopping at this Publix more.
Thank you so much for helping me and thank you so much for all your help. I will definitely come back to the store all because of the way he treated me. I was welcomed with a smile and treated with respect. I will make sure that this Publix will be the store that I continue to go to even though I live in Myakka City. “Stopped in for some charcuterie fixings and Dave in the hot food section helped me and my friend. He was so polite, friendly and funny. When I inquired about the Publix famous chicken finger subs he was very informative. We had already filled our cart so we declined ordering a sub. He went out of his way to find us and offer a sample. The chicken with his mix of hot honey and siracha sauce was AMAZING!
Hold on to this wonderful employee! You dont get customer service like that anymore!”

“I can't say enough good things about my local Publix grocery store! I find myself there almost every other day, and it’s truly become a second home for me. The convenience of its location is just the start; what makes this place special are the incredible people who work there.
I’ve gotten to know many of the staff members, and it’s heartwarming to see that most of them are from the neighborhood. They bring a sense of community to the store, and their friendliness makes every shopping trip enjoyable. Just today, I had a touching interaction with Emily, one of the cashiers I've come to admire. She was having a tough day due to an unpleasant encounter with a customer who was unreasonably aggressive. It was clear that it affected her, and I felt compelled to offer some encouragement.
I reminded her that she is a valuable part of the team and that her smile brightens the day for many of us. It was lovely to see her appreciate the support. We shared a hug, and it felt good to lift her spirits, even if just a little.
This experience served as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness and understanding. We never know what someone else is going through, and it’s crucial to treat each other with grace.
I am grateful to have such a supportive and caring team at my local Publix. They consistently go above and beyond to meet our grocery needs, all within a cozy neighborhood setting. Thank you to everyone at Publix for being fantastic—you truly make a difference!”
