“Aldi is not perfect, but it is among my favorite places to shop. Although the selection is less, the value for the money is better than most larger supermarkets. What I appreciate the most about it is the friendly staff, and their positive attitudes and willingness to help when asked. I have found breads with less ingredients and more flavor. Healthier, less processed food options are important to me. Of course you have to read labels, just like anywhere else! I usually start my shopping at Aldis and if I can't find everything I need I go on to other stores. I appreciate the good value, and the positive shopping experience.”

“This store is one of the best Publix I have ever experienced. But a manager named Sarah completely lacks the social skills and respect for the Publix Organization. Almost all of the associates properly greet customers. But this manager is a failure at reflecting the Publix policy of acknowledging and greeting customers. She is not qualified nor does she has personal skills required to manage coworkers if she fails to perform the basic duty of making shopping at Publix an enjoyable experience. “Publix stores are always well stocked with grocery, bakery, deli and produce items. Their meat and fish selections are adequate. This one is no exception. The store and parking lot are always clean. Only complaint is their higher than average prices but if you shop the BOGO's carefully, you can offset this.”

“Great prices. Tip: go early in the day if you want fresh produce (at fantastic prices). Their organic produce selection is small but you can find organic spinach,organic cucumber, salad mix, organic zucchini and sometimes organic broccoli. Notably, they do not have organic carrots.”

Still choose this one over Palmetto, even though I am literally next to that store. It's older, very dingy and dirty, and the turnover of staff since January has brought a very dark and angry cloud to that store (Palmetto).

Love the new store. All aisles are wider. Layout familiar to other locations. Really appreciate self-checkout. While I understand the cashiers are being held accountable for their scanning times, I absolutely LOATHE that my purchase is often bounced, bruised, and haphazardly 'chucked' into the awaiting trolley. I don't spend my time selecting good produce, only to arrive home to it battered and beaten. Sign me up for self-checkout every time.

Updates 7/26/26: I still drive to the Parrish location over the closer Palmetto store. Still for the same reasons. I may be the only one, but at ALDI specifically, self-checkout RULES! Noone can bruise or bounce my fresh produce, they can't place a gallon of milk on my tortilla chips, nor can they place food items with cleaning products!”

“Easy and usually quick shopping here, with many prices even lower than Walmart, including produce. Some items that I consistently come here for are maple bacon, Gen. Tso Sauce, flavored creamers, cold cuts & cheese, raw meats, mostly because of great prices and selection variety. They also have a couple+ isles of housewares; example: picked up a nice pack of large garden stakes. One more item: I get all my stock large paper bags here @ 12cents each, used for my home recycling items, as do many other shoppers.”

“I actually went there hungry. Ended purchasing a large sub, easily fed me and my girlfriend generously, and it was something I would order again many times. It was their signature chicken tender grinder/sub with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayonnaise. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the multigrain bread was awesome. I highly recommend for under $15 feeds two people.”

“* LONG REVIEW* PLEASE READ!

My wife and I went to this location yesterday as we had a custom preordered birthday cake to pick up. Upon arrival at the bakery, we realized that the cake they had given us was not the correct cake. Not a huge deal, but it’s our daughter’s 3rd birthday and we really wanted it to be perfect for her! So, the bakery associate called over the manager whose name is Josh. Josh immediately greeted us with a friendly approach and told us he would make everything right.

He proceeded to ask us exactly what the cake was supposed to be and my wife showed him the picture that she had originally showed the bakery before ordering the cake. Josh realized the differences and he immediately took the price tag off of the cake and said kindly, “Here, you may have this cake for FREE since we messed up the order”.

We thought to ourselves, awesome! However, Josh was not done there. Next, he stated that the bakery manager, Veronica would be in to close the bakery this evening and that she could quickly prepare our original cake for us as well, also for FREE!!

It STILL doesn’t end there… Josh and Veronica then put together a plan to hand deliver the new cake to our home!!! Talk about exceptional customer service! This type of service is the type you would expect in a 5 star high end resort or restaurant.

We were completely blown away by how well Josh (the Publix manager) and Veronica (the bakery manager) handled this specific situation. They completely went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that we were able to give our daughter the best birthday cake she could have ever imagined!

This experience will truly stick with me forever as I am also in the hospitality and service industry. This is EXACTLY the way a situation should be shown to new workers in training because of how perfect it was handled!!!

PUBLIX CORPORATE- Please, take notice to this very specific situation and make sure Josh and Veronica receive the proper attention they deserve for doing the absolute best they could do!!!

“All of the deli staff are great, but I want to give a special compliment to Lance. He truly stands out knowledgeable, attentive, and skilled at what he does. I come in once a week to have prosciutto and mortadella sliced, and he always cuts them perfectly thin, just the way they should be.

“This store is so incredible. I was looking for items in the store as this is not my normal Publix that I go to. So I was a bit lost as to where things are in the store and I ended up seeing the customer service manager, Shane, he was so polite, and he made me feel like I was the only customer in the store and gave me directions to find a couple things in the store that I needed

I am so glad that I bumped into him. I had just came from the ER after a fall that I had and Shane was very empathetic towards me and stated that he could help me to find whatever I needed. It is people like that that make your Publix shopping experience stress-free and enjoyable. I will be telling my friends about my experience and I look forward to shopping at this Publix more.

“Stopped in for some charcuterie fixings and Dave in the hot food section helped me and my friend. He was so polite, friendly and funny. When I inquired about the Publix famous chicken finger subs he was very informative. We had already filled our cart so we declined ordering a sub. He went out of his way to find us and offer a sample. The chicken with his mix of hot honey and siracha sauce was AMAZING!
Hold on to this wonderful employee! You dont get customer service like that anymore!”

“Ppl get to know ya who work here. Ray the butcher is outstanding. Butchering is a lost art and it's being phased out because of vac(map) packaging, ascorbic acid, carbon monoxide,nitrates which makes meat not be fresh but gives the appearance it is. Support the trade. Buy your meat fresh. The grocery chains say it saves liability. Well if you can keep wet aged meat red for 45 days your deceiving the customer. You lose the cuts we grew up with. Regardless it's not fresh. Doesn't offer special cuts and in some cases you don't know what's in it. If you can't buy your meat from Ray. Just buy your proteins from a place that still cuts down the animals. Ray said 90 percent of all these ppl that cut steaks aren't butchers they just cut meat and 99 percent can't tell you where it comes from ,how it's attached, what's best for how your cooking or what part of the animal is used for what and what's new or troubling the industry. Butchers should be focused on their trade. Not unboxing hotdogs or bacon. Stores are forcing entry level labor on experienced usually older ppl that could help future generations of trades ppl. It's hard to teach hungry young adults a trade when society is doing away with a trade that has been around since the first meat eater. Support your meat industry. Get your roast or steaks wrapped in brown paper. Keep plastic packaging for milk.”

“This is by far the best ran Publix in the Parrish area. The two on Moccasin Wallow can’t compete with this one despite being much newer stores.

This is a larger size store that’s clean and well stocked. Great staff and managers.”

“A great Publix, staff is fast and reliable to your needs. Quick shopping for Me. Great location! Obviously the management must be really good here. I did get a box of their fried Chicken and it could have been a little more done around the bone, so I always microwave each piece for about 15-30 seconds to compensate. If I were going on an outing without power I would have them make up a fresh box Thats really done, to the bone. Products are a little higher here, but it’s probably the area it’s in. Deli, cook that fried chicken, for another couple minutes and your problem would probably be solved, and you would get a five star. Store is very clean and in order with other Publix stores I’ve shopped. If they fix the well done chicken in Deli I will change this. The bakery is a 5 star all the way. You’re so close to a 5 star, but underdone food that is fried can be an issue for people.”

“I've been coming to Publix for a long time now, so I know where everything is at. They have always had ample fresh fruit and vegetables. The people who work there have always been helpful and friendly, and they've helped me find .Prices here are very competitive. The parking lot at the local grocery store is quite spacious and conveniently located. There are plenty of designated handicap spaces available, and the overall cleanliness of the store is indeed excellent. The restrooms are consistently well-maintained and kept very clean.”

“Wonderful pharmacy! Robert, the pharmacist, is very attentive, treats me as an individual rather than a number (contrary to CVS & other pharmacies), and always makes sure everything is right. Bernadette is lovely and always leaves me feeling like I'm in great hands!”

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, significant selection for the space, and the hot food selection is absolutely amazing (not to mention delicious).
