Having a really rough time getting meds. Meds in office are way more expensive. Office will not work with Chewy portal and it's very difficult to always have to go pickup and then mail in prescriptions.

Been going here for almost 10 years now. The more I go the more this place changes. And it almost seems like whoever owns it paid off all their debt and now they are living comfortable off our animals. Everytime I go in there they want to do a follow up, and another follow up, and so on.
The last straw is hitting now. Brought my dog in a month ago with a limp. He is about 8 but pretty healthy big dog. Doctors a doing diagnostics and says they need to twist the dogs hip in order to see if it’s something with the hip. Well she twisted the dogs hip in an awkward position and it hurt him and he yelped. Doctor said “it’s dfinitely something with the hip” and put him on some med and said come back in a few weeks if it doesn’t fix and then they will do X-rays. I asked them if they could just do the X-rays now and they told me “ oh no that’s an all day thing you’ll have to make another appt. Well a few weeks go buy and my dogs leg seemed to be not getting better. So I call them and ask them if I can get him in right away. All booked up until the following week…they only will do appts till 4pm, 5pm if you’re lucky and no longer work weekends as of last year. Think about that, 10 years of Saturday appts then all the sudden the stop. Conveniently the whole world works till 5 so they just constantly put me in a terrible spot with work and having to constantly use PTO just to take my dog to the vet. So I had to go to another vet that could get me in right away. Tell me why I walked in. Without even touching the dog the other vet said “likely he tore his ACL” they proceeded to to do X-rays immediately. Was done with X-rays within 2 hours. I find that astounding that a random place u can go to and get this done, and my own care provider cannot produce me with this type of service. On top of that the vet bent my dogs leg for no reason, either she is clueless or she was fear mongering me into coming back? Idk…. X-rays came back with tore ACL but hips were completely fine..
This place use to be good and care about your animals, now it just seems like they want to make money without actually working hard. Taking advantage of people over their animals. I will be looking for a new vet.
My advice to this vet is don’t forget who made you all your money. Don’t forget your in an industry where your supposed to care more about our animals than making a buck. But it is 2024 and there aren’t much morals left in this society anymore. Just how much can I shaft this person out of money.

My dog is a new patient and the entire staff treated us like family right off the bat. They were loving and caring and did a fantastic job treating Sophie. I recommend anyone with a pet to definitely go to them for treatment.

I am so happy to find this place for our dog. We have used several vets for the past 3.5 years mainly because of moving to a new location - a couple of branches of Banfield and a vet in Riverview. When we moved to LOL, I searched a new vet and many of our neighbors recommended Animal Health Center. And I am glad we chose Animal Health Center.
I was impressive with mainly two things.
First, the exam was really the 'EXAM'. Our dog has had exams biannually and I know what the exam means. Dr. Bri checked our dog's ears, eyes, belly and heart beating in detail which was totally different from other previous vets.
Second, Dr. Bri was very informative and willing to share information with owners. I had several questions. She was explaining all our concerns and printed out some articles related to our questions. I asked the same questions to other doctors in the past and never had enough answers which made me to ask repeatedly. But Dr. Bri was different. She enjoyed to answer questions and share helpful information with owners.
Not only about the vet, the staffs were very friendly and warmly greeted us. My husband and I are happy to find a good vet nearby!

We just moved to the area and when my dog woke up with an acute issue, they worked her in same day as a new patient. They were very caring, great at explaining treatment plan, and even called two days later to insure improving. Very happy with care and will be using this clinic for our two dogs going forward.

I took our families frenchie this morning to get a check up and other things checked on and things took a big turn and let’s just say things weren’t looking good and the whole team at the facility helped us figure out how we could proceed with a surgery SAME DAY! And they really do treat ur pets as family I am so thankful for the team we had today and a big thank you to Cynthia and the team she helped us find for not just our frenchie but l all our pets ?
