If I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my two dogs there. One was having problems and I thought it might be diabetes. They did bloodwork on both of my dogs and came back and told me the other dog had diabetes. I went back and forth with them and they insisted it was the dog with no problems. They wanted to start her on insulin right away. I asked if possibly they mixed the dogs up or the bloodwork up and they said there is no possibility of this. I even called back and the front desk person was rude basically telling me I have no idea what I am talking about. I grew up in a family with a vet as my aunt, so I do know a little more than they think. After going back and forth, I am glad I listened to my gut and didn't start my one dog on insulin because they did indeed end up mixing up my dogs records. After I told them I needed my records to switch animal hospitals, they wrote in my records that I was upset and asked for records because they were unable to do my dogs vaccines. That is not the case at all. If you care about your animals, DO NOT take them to Land O Lakes Animal Hospital!

Called by mistake as I would never take even an enemy to this vet office. I would have given zero stars but doesn't let you. They string you along money....more money...more money and my pet never got well. They are still as rude and unprofessional. Especially the manager with tight pants. Please scroll down and see how many low ratings. Believe them!!!

These guys are amazing! Professional and knowledgeable and they all have a fabulous bedside manner with my puppy Archie! They are always ready, no long wait and Dr. Malhman and the entire staff and phenomenal!!

Dr. Mahlman and her staff exhibited incredible care on a very difficult day saying goodbye to our dog, Coconut. They put our family at ease and showed compassion for us and our sweet boy. Our family is grateful for their expertise and kindness.

Lost my dogs ear medication that the Vet at LOL animal hospital had prescribed. . It’s an ointment, that I only had used a few times and he got better right away. They had prescribed one for my dog for the last 6 years on my yearly visit. So now my dog is in pain with the recurring ear infection. We were at the office 6 months ago but as I mentioned I misplaced it and could not find it. When I called them for a refill and explained I misplaced it. They said you need to bring in to do tests on him. I had spoken to the vet there before and explained we live on a farm. My dog is always jumping into the lake and gets these infections (swimmers ear) a few times a year. Why can’t they just simply refill the ointment I lost? Because they want me to spend more $$$. They really do not care about your pet . Its all about how much they can drain out of you $$$. When the receptionist said the VET will NOT refill the ointment unless you bring him in. I mentioned to her that Christmas had just passed and also the beginning of the month. That I could not afford to bring him in to do a test, that I know once I give him the ointment he is literally better a few hours later. I also mentioned my dog is in pain please help! There answer was an outright, NO we can’t help unless you bring him in. By golly it’s an ointment! It’s obvious that there intention is to make as much money as they can. When I said I would write a negative review on them. She said we do not care. Funny that’s exactly how they feel about your pet. Zero compassion! Shame on you! I Will never go back there again!

I'd genuinely give 0 stars if I could. They will lie to your face about your animals health condition and send you home with false hope. I’ve read multiple other reviews besides myself that have had the same issue where they expressed a specific concern about their pets and this hospital has ignored their concerns and sent them home with sick struggling pets that they’ve also had to eventually euthanize after being told their animals were fine. I brought in a cat after finding him struggling outside, i noticed some blood by his bed and immediately took him the next morning on friday to get him checked out. The vet brought him back and checked him out and told me NOTHING was wrong, and that he was just stressed. I talked with her for a minute about my concerns with him and she dismissed all of them telling me "he just needs love". I was then told if I wanted to do blood work on him that on tuesdays and thursdays they work on "outsiders" who aren't residents. I also would like to add that she gave him back to me covered in piss, i knew he peed in his carrier but i assumed she would've wiped him down at least so he could be comfortable but she didn't, even the treats i previously put i the carrier before taking him were still in the carrier covered in piss. I called today tuesday morning after waiting for 4 days to bring him in, and I was told they only work on animals that came from their clinic. I told her that I was informed differently and that my cat was peeing blood at this point and she told me there was nothing they could do. I explained to her again that my cat was in a lot of pain and that he needed help and that I'd been specifically waiting for them as their vet told me, she then proceeded to dismiss me and hang up the call. I went to petco because he was obviously not doing well and they told me that he had cancer and a huge mass has developed in his blatter, she immediately knew something was wrong and was surprised I waited so long to bring him in. I unfortunately had to put my boy down today as he was suffering so bad they told me it was the best thing for him, my poor baby suffered for 4 days because this animal hospital told me he was COMPLETELY FINE AND JUST NEEDED LOVE. These people have no respect for your animal and will send you home with false hope. Their staff doesn't even know what they are talking about or what their protocols are, and the receptionist couldn't care less about how oblivious their vets are. Don't bring your pet here if you care about them horrible service.

We took our 4 year old goldendoodle there for a mass on his toe.vet suggested surgery but we would have to amputate his toe.so we did the surgery. They told us to take the bandage off in 2 days. Started taking off the bandage did not look good. Called the vet they were closed never told us that they were going to be closed! Had to go the the emergency vet.He had to have anthor surgery. Because the wound was open bone was sticking out all infected. Had to have bandage change every 2 days! On antibiotics for 2 weeks! Come to find out this tumor would have gone away on its own! My dog is still healing its 4 weeks! These people don't care about your dogs! They are only in it for the money! They charged us more than what we were quoted! We are up to $5100.00 for a toe amputation! This has been a nightmare!

Absolutely an awful place to go. I have never been so disrespected in my entire LIFE.I cannot believe how they treated my friends dog. This is NOT a good place to bring your animals. They made his dog suffer for over a month.Also they are extremely dishonest and will lie to make some extra cash. Your best bet is to go anywhere but here. Please share this along because my good people, I do not want you to get scammed and abused.Thank you fellow animal lovers, Zack

Terrible service all to make extra money. A good friend and family had to watch their dog deteriorate because the vet didn't want to tell them the truth and only to keep coming in so they could charge more money. Shameful!! Don't go here.
