Car Wash in Lantana, FL

“I frequent this car wash often and use their bays, I’ve never had an issue. Everything always works and they even have a tenant on-site in case something doesn’t. No complaints.

Until today. I didn’t have time to do a full wash myself this weekend, so I decided to use the touchless wash for the first time. I have a ceramic coating and I’ve seen the damage that drive-thru car washes can do to paint, so a touchless wash is the next best thing to hand washing. I use a very specific pH-neutral soap and microfiber mitts & towels, so all I really needed was a good rinse. It’s $8 for the cheapest option, which is hefty for a rinse, but I don’t have a water hookup at home and desperate times call for desperate measures.

All the pricing at the touchless bay says the lowest tier Express Wash is $8. It charged me $10, which wasn’t even a pricing option. The next tier up was $12. So it says $8 but it charges you $10.

I’m not really bitter about paying $10 for a machine to rinse my car for 3 minutes, I’m bitter about the deception. It’s only $2, but it’s the principle. If the price was listed as $10, I would’ve paid it anyway. But don’t advertise one price and then charge my card 25% more after it’s already too late.

Maybe it’s a $10 minimum hold and once the charge goes through, it’ll refund the $2? If that’s the case, I’ll edit this review and apologize.

EDIT: I’m an idiot and they do have a sign that explains the hold, and I did get a refund. Changing to 5-stars because this place rocks. Everything just works. Never had an issue and I’ve washed me ride here at least 100 times.”

“I visted the automatic wash on October 4th. Upon checking my back statements I was double charged. I've attempted several times to get in contact with the owner with no luck. I will happily change my review if I am contacted and it's resolved but until then I can not recommend using the services.

Update: Owner contacted me and was very apologetic. Situation was handled wonderfully.”
