Maralago Cay, a manufactured home community located in the charming town of Lake Worth, Florida, offers a variety of amenities for its residents. The community boasts a spacious clubhouse, billiards, a well-equipped game room, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and a community swimming pool, catering to the diverse interests of its age-qualified residents. With on-site management, laundry facilities, and RV storage, Maralago Cay aims to provide a convenient and comfortable living experience. However, the community faces some challenges. The water quality has been a source of concern, with reports of a yellowish tinge and frequent pipe bursts leading to boil water orders that can last for days. The entry gate system also seems to be problematic, making it difficult for residents, visitors, and even the rubbish company to access the community. Additionally, there are reports of non-age-qualified residents living in the community, which may not align with the intended 55 and older demographic. Despite these issues, the community is generally well-maintained, with residents praising the efforts of the two maintenance men. The office staff, however, has been criticized for their lack of responsiveness to phone calls and voicemails. Lastly, the annual fees at Maralago Cay have been noted to increase significantly over time.
Very difficult for residents and visitors to gain entry. There entry/gate system doesn't work very well. Even the rubbish company has a hard time getting in. I only hope that the emergency services can gain access. But there sure are a lot of people coming in that???
