I recently had a highly disappointing experience with this U-Haul location. From the initial phone call to the pickup day, the customer service was incredibly poor.
I called to book a U-Haul on a Wednesday for a Friday pickup. The female representative I spoke with was extremely rude and impatient. As it was my first time renting a U-Haul, I had several questions. Instead of helping me understand the process, she was curt and dismissive. When I asked about reserving a van, she didn't provide a clear answer on availability for Friday, which left me confused. Despite this, I proceeded to book a 10-foot truck, though her attitude made the process unpleasant.
On Friday, I called ahead to inform them I was running late. The same representative answered with no apology or courtesy, simply stating that their systems were down and they couldn't release any trucks. This information was provided in a very unhelpful and rude manner, with no effort to offer a solution or even an apology for the inconvenience.
Throughout my interactions, the representative's attitude was consistently poor. She lacked basic customer service skills, such as politeness, patience, and a willingness to assist. Even when my father requested the number for other U-Haul locations, she hurriedly recited it in a way that was impossible to note down, showing no consideration for our needs.
This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The representative's rudeness and lack of professionalism made an already stressful situation much worse. I would give this location zero stars if I could. I strongly advise against using this U-Haul location and will note be returning in the future.

I showed up for my rental, and was then informed that I had been relocated to another location. No apologies, no sincerity, just told to call a number. I never received any phone calls or text, but apparently just an email about 15 minutes before I picked up the rental, at which point I was already on the road. After being relocated, I explained to the phone representative that this would cost me more time and money, as it was further away from my destination, and I already had help enlisted who were still waiting on me. She told me there was nothing I could do, and take the rental or leave it. At this point, I had no other choice. When I finally got my rental, it was filthy with rice all over the ground, a dirty pair of underwear, and several half empty bottles of water and gatorade.

I'm only going to give 1 star because I can't give any, I booked the truck 1 day in advance this morning I arrived to pick it up and the attendant didn't release the truck to me saying that my drive license came with a temporary status. I have already had my license for 7 years, I explained to her that every immigrant in the process of legalizing the driver's license has temporary status, but there was no agreement and she did not release the truck to me.

First, we were supposed to pick up UHaul in Boynton Beach, FL. The day before we were re-routed to a pickup location in Lantana, FL. When we arrived, we were told they only had one dolly and it was an appliance dolly. We said, that's okay, we would take it. We were then told they could not rent us the dolly because it was "not checked in" at their location. We tried to rent a dolly at a local rental center, but before renting it, we went to the 15 ft. truck and found that the Check Engine light was on. I could not take a truck and drive over 600 miles with a Check engine light. Lantana store then re-routed us to another store in West Palm Beach, FL to get a different truck. Finally, nearly 3 hours later (and now behind 3 hours for our moving help) we were able to load truck and begin our trip to Georgia. We had to stop and stay overnight in Lake City, FL because it was nearly midnight! We are extremely dissatisfied with UHaul and will certainly consider other options for our next rental.

Everyone was super friendly and renting the truck was so easy and fast. The truck was very clean as well. I will definitely use this place again! Thanks U-Haul!!!

The staff were awesome, the system moved my reservation to another location, and this location was able to offer me a rental so that I didn't have to drive further away.

Had a decent experience overall, couple of stains on the seat of the van and overall not perfectly clean but did the job for what I needed it for. Staff had trouble finding my reservation the two times I went there but after some digging they found it. Definitely try to get a spot early morning to make sure you can get your truck.

Michael and the woman working there whos name i wish i could remember so she would get credit as well- were amazing! Super helpful and personable and made sure the truck was in great condition for me. This was my first time renting a uhaul and would definitely recommend this location to anyone i know moving because of how great the customer service was!

Use an HONEST COMPETITOR! u-haul is attempting to charge me 3x the correct amount. They deliberately underset the odometer making it appear as though I drove 175 miles from Boyton beach to Delray!! Here is the email I sent them to which they DO NOT RESPOND and just attempt to charge my account instead:1)storage compartment has a leak. anything on or close to “annie’s attic” got wet, some of which was destroyed.2)odometer was incorrect at time of pickup. i thought it was at least close so did not make a fuss. then the app claimed 175 miles driven. I drove to delray beach and back twice, a maximum of 40 miles!!! I did not even refuel the vehicle!3)the app is not working- froze every time and had to start over. attached is the freeze screen. Could not continue from here.I have had good experiences with u-haul in the past but this sure wasn’t one of those. Given that, we will need to discuss a reasonable price tomorrow.

Made a reservation a week in advance. Came in on the day of reservation and apparently the truck was double booked. The U-Haul partner/dealer said they have this problem ALL the time. Yet they continue doing business with U-Haul, so they're just as bad. Will never use U-haul again or consider using this self storage u-haul partner/dealer.
