My mother passed on 3/10 And I contacted Abbey affordable on 3/11. Everyone I’ve been in contact with has been polite and professional not sure what happened, but there was some kind of delay as I didn’t receive a call to Pick Up her death certificates and cremations until 4/10. But about five days prior, someone called me and said something had happened in transit apologized and wanted to keep me updated. Not A huge deal. But if you’ve lost someone you know that you just want to get them home you want to know where they are so I was relieved when I got the call. I have been waiting for it so I can book a flight back to where we grew up in New York so I could spread some of her ashes to be with my dad who is buried up there. I took off a much needed shift at work today And Had a close friend go out of her way to pick me up and drive me 40 minutes to Largo for moral support. And I also booked a flight to New York for Monday. Their website states that on Saturdays, you can pick up from 10 AM to 11 PM which I am now realizing is a typo and it’s supposed to be 10 AM to 11 AM. Of course I didn’t realize this until we just pulled up and they have a huge sign on the door stating so. Like I said, everyone I’ve talked to has been nice and as most of these reviews agree. Something needs to be done about that error on the website. This Is an easy fix and all of this could’ve been completely avoidable. I will now have to find a way back there Monday and hopefully make it to the airport in time. Just a lot of added stress and turmoil to an already very Difficult and emotional time. I hope management figures this out so somebody doesn’t make the same mistake.

Honest, kind, attentive, and overall one of the most respectful experiences ever. Many places like to upsell or make you feel as if you haven't honored someone's life if you don't purchase expensive funeral packages. This place is the opposite. Never want to go through this process again (losing a loved one is NOT a good time), but if I had to, I'd come here. Thank you all.

Justine was just great to work with during our difficult time. The staff took time to work with us and clearly explain what the process was. We highly recommend Abbey Affordable.

Must have special training. Kind & responsive when making arrangements but after the bill is paid -RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!I would never use you again nor will I recommend you to clients.

My wife is a licensed funeral director with many years of experience in the cremation industry so we knew the process etc of everything ahead of time. Justine took very good care of my wife's beloved Mother and the staff there is good at their jobs. Thank you Justine for communicating to us through the process and as my wife says "she was a professional and great funeral director" and that's coming from another licensed funeral director. All crematories follow all the same laws and regulations and handle people with care but this one is actually affordable and they do the job good. Thank you for helping our family Justine.

When my beautiful sister passed suddenly it was the unthinkable loss for her only son and my best sister friend. It was sudden and unexpected. Therefore only knowing she wanted to be cremated was the only thing to work with.My nephew was too broken having to arrange anything for his mother my sister.I flew into Florida immediately after her passing so I could be with my nephew and make cremation arrangements.Thats where the Abbey crematory came into my ear by people who have used them.I was absolutely lost but both Karen and Justine were professional, compassionate, and there for me upon every phone call.I have nothing but respect for their professionalism and fast response in everything that I needed.My nephew thanks you , I thank you ,and my entire family thanks you !Photo is my beautiful sister❤️Carol O’Connor

My husband passed 10/08/2022The service was excellent. The men that came to pick him up were so respectfully and considerate I really couldn't believe it.Everyone was so sensitive to my feelings. I couldn't have asked for a better experience under the circumstances. Thank you.

Did such a great job picking up my loved one couldn't have asked for a better experience.. in was suggested threw home hospice in were very private in I'm grateful for my 1st experience. Thank abby' affordable cremation.

This people were great no issues even the gentleman picking up my dad was so great why people talk about them is beyond me.. however it took a while to get him back but that's was OK they are slammed in fla with older people moving here and passing away so give them a break have respect be nice at lease they are cheap and we can afford it..
