My sons were attending Aldersgate for years, and we never had any issues with the previous staff, as you can see by my earlier review. The staff changed in March 2023, and classrooms quickly began closing because staff members were frequently quitting. Literally every staff member mentioned in prior 5 star reviews quit, Tanya, Emily, Kayla, Katie, Bre, etc. We were very understanding about early pickups and such because we knew they were trying their best. Then we were notified on a Tuesday afternoon that the infant room was closing at the end of the current week. While it was late notice, we understood that they couldn't have a room open with no staff. Thursday evening comes around, and they send a message saying the infant room would not be open because they did not have staff for Friday. I politely emailed the pastor, Ben, requesting a refund for Friday because we pay in advance. He wrote back, referring me to the handbook about prorating of weeks. The handbook specifically says no prorating for sickness or vacations. I have never asked for a refund for early room closures or not having staff on other days, but infant care is expensive, and one day was about $60. I emailed him back saying the handbook did not apply because there were no teachers being paid, and they were literally pocketing money from families, and the situation was not our fault in the slightest. He did not respond. I emailed him a second time, and he still never responded. I also have tried calling the center to speak to the director, but they won't pick up the phone. I am not sure how you can call yourself a Christian, and then treat people the way you do and literally steal money from them when they do the right thing and pay in advance for services. This pastor needs to do some soul searching on what is morally right.

Our son attended the preschool for several years, we always felt part of the family there. He enjoyed going to school and the activities that were included. Watching over children is a thankless job and while even as parents we make mistakes, Aldersgate preschool did a wonderful job with our boys. The leadership works extra hours and very hard to ensure a safe, clean, and fun environment for the kids. I would have no concerns sending my children there.

My daughter started in the infant 1 room in November 2022 at barely 4 months old. I could not be more thankful for the full time teachers she has had in the infant room 1 & 2, but sadly none of them are there anymore. The school has gone downhill since the old director left in mid march and a new one took over. They have lost all of their staff, besides maybe 4 teachers & kids are constantly getting injured. They close rooms with zero refund and let very sick kids come to school. When two of the infant teachers were out for the day, the fill-ins did not feed a baby in the infant class all day until 430pm! Unacceptable! As of now, the new director gave a 3 day notice on a Tuesday that the infant room would be closing for good and last day would be Friday. With how horrible an 3 day notice is, they cancelled the last day Friday with no credits for the cancelled day. With both infant rooms closing for good, it is leaving many parents without childcare or a second option. People are losing their jobs because there are no other openings for infants around Pinellas county before January 2024. This place is in shambles and you should not send your kid here no matter how desperate you are. A real shame. I would give negative stars if it were possible.

This is a great daycare , Miss Katie is Harpers teacher and she has been working with her potty training and other activities Harper has learned a lot the other teachers are great too can’t remember all their names but they are all nice polite courteous to everyone . If you are looking for a great daycare this is the one . The app lets us know what’s going on with the kids

We have been apart of the Aldersgate preschool family for over 3 years now. Our family is very happy here and would highly recommend them. We have always treated like family. Great teachers and staff. Will be very sad when our daughter graduates this year.

We love Aldersgate! I was so worried about putting my infant in daycare after hearing so many horror stories. After touring Aldersgate, I had ZERO worries and have been so happy with the decision. They have an app to update you about your child’s day and it is amazing to get pictures of my girl throughout the day. Athena and Bree in the infant class are THE BEST, I appreciate all of their hard-work and care they give my Babygirl ❤️

My daughter is in the 2 year old room & she loves it there so much more than she did at the last daycare! I've also noticed that she is advancing faster there. Her teacher Ms. Kayla is so awesome! She updates me daily of what they do for the day & pictures showing it! Overall I love this daycare & I'm so glad my daughter is attending there.

Both my babies have attended Aldersgate Christian learning center for about 2 years! Sadly my daughter will be graduating in August. I truly wish they provided all the way to 8th grade. Miss tayna and miss Emily are always at the door to greet the parents, which provides amazing communication. My daughter sees the pictures of the staff, and always tells about how much she loves the teachers she sees throughout the day! Miss Courtney her favorite, and miss Haley as well! She remembers her teachers in the past miss michelle and she loves her as well. Miss Kayla is my sons favorite and is also loving miss Katie. I truly appreciate the love the staff gives to my kiddos! I could go on forever for how much I appreciate the Aldersgate staff!!!

My daughter (2yro) attended for 1 week. At first I felt great but there is no orientation to begin with. All I was asked was just to fill out paperwork. No one to one with the teacher. My daughter got a diaper rash. Teacher claimed it was blowout diarrhea and adviced to keep her home. Kept her home no diarhea just improper diaper care. Her face would usually come back dirty. And though I know toddlers are messy and dirty Im very particular about hygiene. I would recommend this place to someone with older children. When i called to cancel i wasnt even asked for the reason as if they didnt care. The facility is nice and so is the playground. The staff was kind but with the first week going like this I realized I need a more personalized approach to my daughters care.

I love this school and hope to never have to take my child anywhere else!!! I love every teacher, they have done nothing but care and love my child as their own.. they keep me updated throughout the day and I always know my child is safe which is what I care about most. Jessica is amazing— she’s been my favorite since day 1 although my kiddo has outgrown her class. The director and assistant director are amazing.. I have nothing bad to say about this place and I wish my child could go here forever. -Rae’s Mom ❤️

My son has been attending Aldersgate for a year and a half and we love it! You can tell the teachers really care for the kids and most all know him by name. I love the app that we can see what he’s up to during the day, it puts me at ease. He absolutely loves going to school and loves the teachers!

We loved it at first, until I found my 4-year-old in the restroom struggling to change his clothes after he had an accident at the playground. He was left unsupervised with his clothes lying on the bathroom floor. No parent in this world would be okay finding their kid alone with no one to help him. We are trusting you our most precious things, and we expect you to take good care of our little ones.
