Brought back a battery that was bought on 02/24 because my mother's truck wouldn't start, the manager put a tester on it and said "it's perfectly fine we're not replacing it, something is wrong with your vehicle". After proceeding to tell me he's "been a mechanic for 17 years" and "I'm wrong". After saying I want their corporate number he told me to go online to find it, and then said "if they replace this one and it doesn't work I'm SOL because i don't know what I'm talking about". After asking a total of ten times for the corporate number and writing his name down he decided to replace the battery. He tried to claim it was "no longer under warranty", and I told him 2 years don't pass in 5 months, he finally dropped threw the battery on the counter saying it's all ours.
The moment I put the battery in the vehicle and turned the key it started immediately. This is the most unprofessional business I've received in any AutoZone, and I have a business account with them for my FedEx fleet. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I went off the other positive reviews when choosing a place to look into a new battery - and I’m happy I did! There are at least 4 other options near by, but this process was quick & easy. Dom tested the battery, showed me the various options available & immediately changed it out. We were there for under 20 minutes total.
A Simple issue met with a simple resolution process. 😊 thank you again!!!

Thank you to Josh the store manager for going above and beyond and helping me out! There was an issue that came up with my van battery, and instead of sending me on a wild goose chase as the AutoZone did near my house, he checked my battery and was willing to do what it took to remedy my issue. He took the time and educated me on potential issues that I was having, which actually ended up being some minor things to watch for. Safe to say, I was happy to drive to this further location because of his work ethic and customer advocacy! He is an invaluable asset to this company and is phenomenal in taking care of customers. Great work Josh! They definitely picked the right person to be a store manager. I will only go to this location simply because I know I'm working with a person that truly cares for his customers.

Shout-out to Josh from the Largo store at 10135 Ulmerton. He saved my life and a potential ticket by installing my tail light on an old Ford Focus (2009) in preparation for a trip. I can’t thank him enough; he also declined my offer to show my appreciation with a tip to boot! That’s going above and beyond. 😃
