Car got a flat I pulled into auto zone thinking my car would be safe for a hour while I went home to get my jack ( it wasn’t in my car) friend picked me up brought me home writhin an hour my car was towed from this place. You are autozone not an apartment complex I don’t understand this was around 2 am the parking lot wasn’t being used.

Very disappointed that the store manager or district manager decided to start towing cars out of nowhere after being told that we COULD park at your store. I understand the mystic bay apartments parking issue not Auto Zones problem but we were told by store personnel we could park there if it was not along the building. A warning would have been the nicer approach especially after what out city just went through. People are struggling right now, and having your car towed out of the blue definitely takes a financial toll on families in these times. I will not be shopping at this auto zone again.

Store location is convenient and easy to find. Most items prices are competitive. Store clerks are courtesy and helpful. Items are available for online orders and pickup. Some items include the installation. The parking lot is not crowded. The only problem is lacking an indoor shop, which is useful for installation during bad weather.

Here I am leaving two stars for the location, but that's about it.
The property itself is in a state of dismay. You'll notice stains all over the parking lot and sidewalks. There may or may not be used baby diapers in the grass on the edge of the parking lot.
I myself cleaned up the mess inside the trash receptacle area, and only god knows how long it was like that before I stepped in to do a job I'm not paid to do. I do not work at this store. Although I have worked at other AutoZone stores in the past, I am no longer professionally affiliated. I have been on the search for the best store in the area so that when I kickstart CCARS.mpeg, a mobile auto repair business, I can establish relationships with the stores employees and further my general relationship with the company via a Commercial Account.
I know of its values, "it" being AutoZone, better than the majority of the people on its payroll. I find it to be embarrassing to say the least, to be addressed by an AutoZone employee and told NOT to help, simply because when they do decide (not often) to go above and beyond, they do so in search of cash tips from the customers needing a hand with their vehicles. A policy in place is supposed to deter employees from taking tips or accepting these types of gestures from clientele or the customers. Only if after they insist should you be allowed to accept it. The reason for this is that because the company has their primary policy, or so I call it, to go above and beyond, always.
When I spoke to a few of the store associates today, they quickly went from smiles to frowns as they understood then and there that I am a force to be reckoned with and that I am fully capable and willing to work circles around them, whether it be to serve my community or serve AutoZone, and in this case, both. My plan was to take some of the load off of the guys in the store while the manager was away.
Also, the store manager says they're full up on employees. However, the hiring sign in the window of the entry door is predominantly posted. Why would he lie to me about their staffing needs? I can safely presume that it's because I will affect the status que in such a way that would mean his termination or resignation or dismissal of his position as Store Manager prior to the District Manager reading this honest and heartfelt review.
I may not be the most fair man in the world, but I am honest because the truth is the only safe ground to stand upon. So, while I beg for opportunities to work and provide myself with such a life I deserve, I can and will hold the responsible parties accountable for actions or non action, resulting in negligent consequence. That's why I informed the hourly employees of customers misdeeds and misuse of the parking lot, because the EPA will fine the store when they hear about all of the fluids being left unattended and leaking into the concrete and therefore the earth below.
Get your store together DM, it's falling apart without you.
✌️ ❤️ ?

I came in for a battery replacement on my 2019 Chevy Colorado and Chris the associate was very helpful and patient. The battery was hard to get it out the terminal was jammed tight and would not come off from the battery post. It took Chris and with the help from Gregory 35mins to finally get the terminal off the post normally it's a 10-15 mins job. Thank you soo much Chris and Gregory you guys are the best!!! I will always be grateful because I don't think i could've change it myself. If anyone needs a battery change or need something for your vehicles I recommend Auto zone in Starkey and east bay these guys are tremendous at what they do and very knowledgeable.

Needed a new battery for my car. Although the Largo store was OOS, the associate found me the correct battery based on PR code at the Clearwater location.
